They didn't have George Karl. The Nuggets dipped from 1st or 2nd to 4th (same record as us), and played pathetically in the playoffs.

Played Denver, who was without a head coach, you mean. Now they have one. Changes things, huh?

I'm actually shocked Denver is doing this well too and out rebounding Utah.

Edit: Slow reply.. see I got beat to it.

If I recall correctly, Denver was a 70% win team with GK last year and at 50% without him. It was a drastic change.

Here is question how was Evans not a high scorer in college? It seems like he should have scored at will versus college players.

On a positive note, things simmered down in the second half. Glad we have a game tomorrow, and our starters rested. Lets see what our team is really capable of tomorrow.

i watched the Suns 1st game and they have no interior D or O whatsoever but will take 3s all day. If the Jazz play smart and Jefferson shows than it could be a confidence builder for the team.

Nah, I've had Carlos' back for years. We sucked tonight, at least let me enjoy being right.

And also, I did suggest before that Millsap could possibly be better than Jefferson. I'm 2/2 so far.

And Nuggets fans, congratulations on your win but I guess I have to remind you again, we were missing two of our starters, you know, the guys who play the game.

NINJA PLEASE, CARLOS BOOZER owned your ass. Two PLAYERS out! End of story.

Oh, and you act as if I'm talking with you when I made that comment but I'm really just defending Boozer against my fellow Jazz fans.

Scott Hastings is a big homer and Al Jefferson got abused on defense so it's not a good combination.

You replaced Boozer with Jefferson, and Okur was out. Who was the 2nd player missing? I'm assuming you're saying Boozer was missing, but he was replaced.

Denver on the other hand, was missing their starting PF and backup center. Your team got destroy by Sheldon Williams. I'd repost the "Suck it" picture bat was nice enough to post on the Denver board, but I'm not that classless.

Good luck the rest of the season (unless playing Denver  ).

The difference was that Adrian Dantley (coincidently a Jazz HoFer) didn't give a **** about the non-calls we were getting, when Karl does.

Gotcha. Was just a bit fired up from all the trash talking earlier the other Jazz fans did, who now seem to have disappeared. Credit to you for still being around.

Who cares about the Nuggets? This was an embarrassing opening night effort by the Jazz. Very disappointing to watch.
