Ok, 2 thank you is enough. See you guys the next time around.

Every team in the league would love to have Anderson Varejao. What a difference maker he is.

JJ Hickson looks like a brilliant young player and it's good to see that the Cavs still play that NASTY defense.

I've always thought that Boobie Gibson was just one of those overrated, mediocre role players that get attention because they play with a superstar (Shannon Brown, Jameer Nelson, Trevor Ariza etc.), BUT I think he could turn out to be an effective player after all. What will the Cavs do with their PG rotation when Mo comes back? Williams is the odd man out, IMO.

Ramon Sessions was my favorite player when he was a Buck, so I will be following him and the rest of the Cavs this season. Fun game to watch. The atmosphere at the Q is still intimidating. Congrats.

BTW, did anyone else notice that that guy who led the team in scoring las year was not mentioned by name at all during the game?

I have to admit that I was one of the morons who questioned the addition of Varejao. Has he proven me wrong and I could not be happier. The defense was tough tonight and this team was scrappy. If we play like that, this team has a great shot at making the playoffs.

Tonight allowed some other players to step up and show what they can do (e.g. Boobie, Andy V, JJ, Ramon, and Jamario). There is also such a difference with a team that has a great NBA coach. It was such a coup for Gilbert to get Byron Scott. Hopefully we can just continue to build.

Except when they play the Cavs, I will be rooting for every team in the NBA that plays Miami. Whether it is Chicago, Orlando, New York, or Atlanta, just beat the Heat.

Nice effort guys

summary thoughts:

we need a center

more consistant scoring

I think Boston was tired after yesterday.

Hollins shocked the crap out of me with is solid effort
JJ was better than I dreamed possible
Sessions needs to slow down
The Rookie guard need to get a look
Jamison need to retire

Boston wasn't tired in their second game of the season, lol. Back to back or not, if they were tired already they won't make the playoffs. Most of their starters rested a ton in the first half. Fact is the Cavaliers kept it close then raised it to another level when the Celtics tried to turn it on.

It was inspired team defense and they showed a lot of potential on offense. The last few years we've been at our best when the ball was moving. There were stretches when we were literally unbeatable. Then we'd fall into old habits. If we can keep the movement going we'll be alright.

we all know it was actually the refs that won this game for the cavs. It's obvious, I read it on the celtics board. I really wish Lebron hadn't been such a pansy last year, we should have taken those pansies out.

I'm a Cs fan but the refs DID NOT win this game in favor of the Cavs.
