Very nice. But it's a basically minor trade in the scheme of things. I don't think we can grade it yet.

Jason Richardson was nice and all, but I never identified him as a Bobcat. And Jackson will hopefully retire as one. B+

Larry Brown always says he wants centers who will block shots and blah blah blah, and that's what Okafor was. But I guess he knows his system better than I do. C

This was the best trade in Bobcats history. Tons of upside, the only thing that could have made it better is if Jackson was younger. A+

Honestly, who cares? Brown is an end-of-the-bench player, so is Weaver. Brown is better, I guess, but it's not like this has a serious impact on our fortunes. B? Whatever.

That Okafor-TC trade really looks like a total wash now.A lot of people got all giddy over it because of salary cap implications....whatever.We have now taken on more salary for players that will hardly,if ever, see the court.TC was never a better replacement than Okafor,it's not like Okafor's making an impression to make the all star team out West,but TC never out performed Okafor while he was here.

Y'know what you're right, and I didn't notice "2016" either. It's a totally fine deal. Nothing to get psyched about, but it's not a bad thing.

The Theo trade can't be anything other than an A+. We got a serviceable player for absolutely nothing.

1- Kyle Weaver for Derrick Brown. Weaver was a camp invite with the Bulls who didn't make it, and Brown is on the Bobcats bench. Incomplete. How can you really grade a trade when the player you got hasn't done anything yet?

2- Richardson/Dudley for Diaw/Bell/Singletary. It helped short term, but doesn't Dudley seem like a player who would've flourished under Larry Brown? Jason Richardson is doing fairly good as well. C-

3- The Bobcats trade an inexpensive backup Center and Matt Carroll for an expensive backup center. Say what you want about Matts production before his Dallas rental, but getting Diop was a bad move. E

4- Ammo and Brown for Vlad. I don't view this one so poorly. Shannon wasn't getting playing time and Ammo was (is) a bust. Vlad gave the team some decent production after they got despite poor shooting. C

5- Okafor for Chandler. B Saved money, turns out Okafor isn't that special.

6- Vlad Rad and Bell get swapped out for Acie Law III and Stephen Jackson. Team trades two fill-ins for a guy who led the Bobcats to the playoffs. B+

7- Bobcats trade a probably not existent pick (see stipulations on pick) for Theo Ratliff, needing a Center. B If you get something basically for free...thats a good thing.
