Battier looks just about washed up.

That sequence in the 3rd was very painful to watch. I've never seen Battier get faked out so terribly bad. Never seen him get faked out of bounds. Maybe we should have kept Ariza... Cant believe I said that.

The sad part is that he's fully healthy, so his D won't get any better than this.

I miss Ariza also. He was basically the team's Doug Christie and I'm shocked that Houston traded him.

Brooks played way too many minutes and a defensive liability. I am now convinced that we need to see if we can trade him and get CP3. At least CP3 can get more of his teammates involved. I don't have a problem of not getting Melo since Scola is our main low post player, but Brooks is just a defensive liability. Lee should've taken the bulk of Brook's minutes due to Brooks playing alot against the Lakers. He looked tired in the 4th tonite.

Our only hope of getting CP3 is if the Hornets start losing alot.

This team doesn't even need a player like CP3. They just need a guy who could hit an open 3, pass, and defend. Even a washed up Kidd would be decent for this team.

DM - Yeah I was surprise they took it to Utah. Another positive is that in the nba close goes your way and doesn't go your way. It's about execution. If you get a chance to win on the road it's pretty good. I think you may have missed it. Martin is no great defender, but his D was no worse than average this year so far including this past game. Well how about we start with the fact that every perimeter player on the Warriors went off on him? Did you miss Monta's 46? Curry's 25? Even D Wright, a scrub that barely got any minutes in a depleted Miami roster, managed to get 15. I don't care if he "improved" on D. He still loses his man, gambles for steals, and is still in fact, a revolving door on D.

I agree that his defense actually looked better than it usually looks. It wasn't great, but it's definitely better than usual.

They lost to the defending champs on the road by 2 points and they lost the Warriors (a team that likes to run) on the 2nd game of a back to back. The Rockets weren't favored to win either of the 2 games so I don't know why everyone seems to think the Rockets suck now. I thought that they'd beat the Warriors also, but it was the 2nd game of a back to back and the Celtics were in the same position when they lost to the Cavs. It really isn't that shocking.
