Our bench should roll over LA's bench. But we're gonna get killed on the boards.

Not sure how we're going to handle Gasol and Odom, but let's do our best and give them a fight.

Hopefully Lawal is activated for this game. We'll need all the rebounding help we can get.

I think this will be a pretty intense game, hopefully we come out on top! Go Suns!

BTW:

As usual with a matchup like the Lakers everyone needs to do their part to keep the peace both here and on the Lakers board.

That goes for fans of both teams, on both boards. Contribution on the other team's board is always encouraged, but ONLY if you can rise above trash talk and avoid trolling/baiting. Obviously both fans on their home boards have a little more tolerance for basic trash talk but nothing more than the "let's kick some arse" kind of stuff.

These matchups can end up with wild game threads so we'll have pretty low tolerance for giving warnings, even temp suspensions.

If our 3's are dropping, we have a chance. If not, we're ****ed.

I'm more concerned with Nash and Hill running out of gas in the 2nd half, or coming out flat. Back-to-backs are never a good thing for older players, even guys in phenomenal shape like Stevie Wonder and Hill.

In other news, El Dragon set to stomp on Sasha like a Nappa Valley Grape.

I loved seeing that fire from Dragic. I wish I knew what Vujacic said got him so riled up.

Nobody likes Vujabic, not even his own team mates.

Dragic looked like he was playing with some venom last night, too. It seems like every time he plays on TNT, he has some anger there...I personally love it.

Hedo should play well this game. He matches up with Odom pretty well.

The Lakers bench is greatly improved and contributed to the win against the Rockets instead of losing leads. I think the bench might be even or at least more balanced.

I think your bench has as much talent as ours, but not quite as many important role players (i.e. I think we can go deeper but not necessarily more overall skill). That's totally just my opinion though.

On your bench, Shannon Brown concerns me the most. If Phil really wanted to give us fits he'd play some stretches with Shannon and Kobe at the guard spots - might force Nash to the bench if Shannon can get going on his slashing game. So we'd have to get probably Dragic, Childress and Hill in if you did that.

Yeah I agree and with Odom in the starting spot it takes away some from the bench. Our starters play heavy minutes so bench isn't as important as the Suns IMO but Shannon has really improved his handles and shooting as proven by preseason and the Rockets game and Blake is a major upgrade over fisher. In fact Blake held Brooks to 6 points in the 2nd half while Brooks raped Fisher for 18 in the 1st. Matt Barnes is a energy guy sort of like what you guys have. I'll be a very good game and if Kobe was 100% and Bynum was playing I would go with the Lakers but right now is a toss up. We aren't playing very good right now.
