I don't know enough about league pass to know for sure if this breaks the rules of RealGM's agreement with the NBA so consider this a warning that this thread shouldn't head any further into illegal activity or the info will be removed and the topic locked.

Did not want to make a new thread. But why is the Magic/Heat game playing on league pass? I thought ESPN games were blacked-out?

Hmm, I don't think the Magic/Heat game is on any Canadian channel ATM.

So I guess that they had no choice but to air the game on league pass? The Laker game is on TSN2 but it's blacked-out by league pass.

Can someone clarify?

Thanks.

Great advice. I'm a partner in a California-based company, so I registered with my US email address. Lo and behold, the Raptors games are available.

I'm in Detroit on Monday and I'll try watching the Raps/Kings game.

Thanks Sub.

So all u need is US email to bypass the blackout? Even if you sign up and watch the game under a Canadian IP?

Don't know. Today it worked for me. Not sure what happens once the free preview ends.

I was able to watch the game tonight no problem.

You need to have an american IP address for it to work. You can get an american IP address by using a VPN connection to a server in the states. Just google "free VPN's" or even better, pay $2 - $20 a month and pay for a reliable, high speen, VPN connection. Google "best VPN's", "top VPNs" and pick one you like.

I was using a new LP account that I setup a month ago with a canadian credit card and mailing address. I simply entered my login details on the american LP and it signed me in no problem.
Reason No. 12,356 why I love the NBA: The Curry-Randolph combo marks the first time in NBA or WNBA history that a team has started two C-cups at the same time.

Are you watching the game under the Canadian league pass or US? The US one was the one with blue background and Canadian one with white background(much better interface and video quality I might add).

This is what I've done (using Hotspot shield) and it's working just fine, Raptors games and all.

I'm happy to give the NBA my money... just wish there was an easier method to watch these games.

I'm on a mac and hotspur shield stops everything from working, I can't use the web or even get league pass to load. I'm willing to pay 100$ for the service but what's the point if I can't watch my fav team play...

Any way around this without an American ip?

If anyone lives in the states and wants to get it holler,

Where are the American Raptor fans?! :( Let's buy it together. I don't have an American address or American CC. Damn it.

I'm torn about what I want to do. International will not allow connections from US VPN, so that means Raptor games will be blacked out.

On the other hand, the quality of International is light years beyond the American version.

Sigh.

So for the international league pass they say they will block games that are in canada and spain. I guess this means games that are on tsn2 and nbatv and raptors tv (as well as tsn, sportsnet, therscore). But if a game is shown in Spain will it also be blacked out for us? This leads to the question; how many games are televised in Spain?
