Minnesota Vikings vs New England Patriots
Sunday October 31st. Halloween! 4:15 PM.
TV: Fox. Radio: 98.5 Sports Hub.

Tons of storylines in this one. First, it's Halloween, so that should be fun. I wonder how many Randy Moss and Jenn Sterger costumes we'll see. Second, Moss coming back to Foxboro. Hopefully they cheer him (I would if I had a ticket). Third, Favre, will he or won't he play? As of right now, reports are saying childress is leaning towards Tavaris Jackson. Either way I think Favres games played streak ends either before this game, or after, when someone from our pass rush knocks him out and he realizes he has to take a break. Anyway should be fun.

Go Pats!

I actually want Farve to play, with his awfulness this season. Hopefully the offense gets on track and we win this one.

Great goal line stand by our defense! Ron Brace pushed Loadholt back, that was great to see.

Alright half, some bad, some good, I'm hoping for a better second or it doesn't look good.

The defense continues to impress me. The offense on the other hand, well...

Wooooooooooooo!!! First place in AFC east! Best record in the NFL!

-Brady and Tate both never gave up on that play. Great to see a big play.
-Holy Law-Firm! Why can't you always run like you did in the second half.
-Overall, second half offense was great.
-Mentioned it earler, but Brace the whole game looked good.
-McCourty is becoming the best cornerback we've seen since asante samuel.

Great win, they came out with a game-plan to stop moss, and they did.

The officiating in today's game was an embarrassment to the NFL. The hit that took Farve out of the game was absolutely legal, even though a penalty was called. The zebras also took away a fumble recovery from the Pats and gave the Vikings a touchdown that they didn't score. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Horrible, just horrible.

It was so bad that it made some of the officiating in the NBA look good. The Patriots won anyway-- and won against the spread-- so I hope some of the officials lost their shirts.

NOTHING makes Nba officiating look good. Seriously. Maybe XFL did, but as bad as the NFL has been, it is miles better than Nba officiating.

Solid win for the Pats. Love to see Farve carted off the field with a whopping 8 stiches....bitch.

Anyways 3 Stars of the Game

1. Benjarvus Green-Ellis- I've been hating on him for awhile now, really had a great second half for the team.

2. Tom Brady- Had a very good game. His play to Tate was very impressive.

3. Brandon Tate- Great adjustment on his route, finally a big game from him.

Three Duds
1. Deion Branch- Need something more from him. Had the one very nice play, but that was it.

2. Wes Welker- This guy needs to step up and prove he can get it done without Randy Moss. Just doesn't look like the same guy right now.

3. I don't really have a third guy, so I'm going with Fragile Fred Taylor. You are always hurt man.

Refs did suck, yes. That non pass interference call was ridiculous. They tackled welker when the ball was still in the air.

Branch looked hurt. When he caught that first ball, it was like he gave up as soon as he hit the first down marker, even though he had a bunch of room to try and make something happen.

Anyway, here's something interesting I found on the packers board

Randy Moss voiced his displeasure with the Vikings' offense and his role in it following Sunday's loss to New England. "It hurts as a player that you put a lot of hard work in all week, and toward the end of the week, Sunday," said Moss, "that’s when they acknowledge about the hard work you put in throughout the week. That’s actually a disappointment." Moss also ripped Brad Childress for not trying a field goal near halftime, and told reporters that he "really misses those guys" in New England. Tom Pelissero of 1500 ESPN Twin Cities suggests that it was Moss' "sales pitch to re-sign with the Patriots next March."

:o I'd be willing to bet that doesn't happen.
