Baron has been absolutely horrible but the problems on offensive go well beyond him. Its not as if anyone is helping him out.

Like I've said before, he's the guy that should call them and get the guys in spots where they can do something.
But you're right, it looks like we don't run any sets at all and I'm not sure what's that all about, especially after being blown out in 3rd quarters before and knowing that we need to get some easy buckets while running some plays.

Other's not "helping him out" is what I've said before with us not having anyone being able to hit a jumper from 15 and out...

Still, if there's any team dumb enough to trade for Baron, while not dumping too much trash on us, we should do it to get rid of his contract.

With the way he is playing I doubt anyone would trade for him. He did just show some flashes now though on the break. We need to get out and run because VDN obviously didn't work on offense. That was the main complaint with the Bulls fans.

Most disappointing thing for me is Gordon and Kaman. Baron has been struggling but came out aggressive in the 4th and is still trying to score. Grffin is also struggling but keeps attacking. Kaman and Gordon on the other hand are passing up open shots and not stepping up when we need them.

Kaman should be in his prime and Gordon is in that vital 3rd year. I expected these two to be the players to really step it up this season. We all want to see GSW Baron but the fact of the matter is he is older now and I just don't think he is going to be that dynamic player anymore.

2nd straight blow out. I don't even know what to think at this point. Seems like there's no passion from most of these guys.

Our lack of outside shooting is glaring. Kaman and blake get doubled instantly in the post, and no ones able to make any mid-long range jumpers. Once we dig ourselves a hole, it just starts to snowball out of control. Baron becomes somewhat of a liability as well when we try to post up, cause hes usually the guy throwing the entry pass so the double often comes from his man, and the kick out goes to him..... and every team will let him take that 3 point attempt.

I dunno how we will fix this with the current roster. Blake's range is much shorter than camby, who could hit long jumpers, it feels like we are really prone to zone defense as well.

I agree 100%. Only way to beat it is to get out and run as much as possible. Also Kaman needs to get his mid-range J going. Guys on the weakside were getting open looks from swinging the ball round, they were just unable to hit them.

It's time for the Youth Movement!!! Baron and Kaman needs to go. If we're getting blown out with them, might as well play the young guys and have them develop.

I was at the game and I told my friend "this is the future" when Bledsoe, Gordon, Aminu, Blake, and Jordan were all in with 4 minutes left. They did pretty well. If Baron didn't chuck up that ugly layup attempt too early, the team probably would've had the lead at the half.

I've wasted a lot of $ going to the first two games and I don't have unlimited funds to be throwing money away. I've been a fan for 20 years and this crap is really getting old. I know it's early but the last two games weren't even competitive.

As someone else said idk what to think, i thought this would be the year that Baron would finally be motivated with Griffin debut, Gordon in good form and some bright futures with rookies.. but no

seeing that Gordon/Baron didn't even score in double figures (think i've got that right) is so dissapointing...

looks to be another year of the same old Clipper basketball... crap haha but nah it has only been 3 games.. with a few positives out of a lot of negatives.. gotta keep the belief there for this team

I knew all offseason that this offseason was the time to trade Kaman to maximize his value. He is either going to continue to struggle or get injured. It's not too late now, but his value could plummet if my prediction for him is correct unfortunately. I say try to pull off a 3-team deal to get Iggy for Kaman.

Something else that im wondering... sorry to keep rambling here.. is how tough the coaching staff is on our players after terrible efforts like that. Surely it's time to start getting tougher and don't play the guys that don't look like they want it out there.. if Barons doing his usual dodgy things take him out, let Bledsoe play the game out.. these type of things

idk just a thought i had

I was at the game and here are my thoughts. We let the Mavericks get on a fast start but then pulled ahead with the youth movement and the close to the end of the second quarter. There were stretches where we played good, but not for all 48 minutes. I saw a lot of missed shots and at half time I saw we were shooting 30 something %, I was really surprised that it was that bad. Basically after Jason Kidd hit that half court shot the game seemed over. We had another disappointing second half, I really hope we figure this out and guys step up and hit shots.

Aside from the loss the game was fun and it was nice to see everyone dressed up in Halloween costumes. We have another game tomorrow and hopefully it goes better than the last two games.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Hey Raptors fan here, just wanted to say how impressive Griffin has been, granted its only been 3 games, but he is looking like the real deal. Doesn't hurt that he is on my fantasy team 8-) I only wish that there was someone as good and tough as Griffin in the upcoming draft... :(
