He literally credited Wade and Kobe for that. For about the first year and a half he would get hacked and not get calls. Then, mysteriously after his first all star game, he started doing it and getting a lot more calls. It's annoying, I agree. I hate it when anyone does it. But it works. It's like those stupid KD / Paul Pierce offensive flops that get them to the line when they weren't really trying to shoot the ball in to the basket, but if the refs fall for it, I guess it's "smart" to exploit it.

Gawd I hate the expressions Paul Pierce makes. I think he rehearses them.

Regardless, elite players whine, because that's what NBA refs force them to do. If they don't, they get criticized for low efficiency and poor free throw counts.

Honestly, do you see Rose doing what all these so called elite players(floppers) do on a consistent basis to get to the line? I honestly don't.

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

If we keep Aldridge it likely means no Rose unless we end up in that 9th slot in the lottery. I think I'd rather have Rose given the choice.

Oh and Noah too.

Haha...obviously in my perfect dream scenario...we would have noah, rose and lamarcus...and no Tyrus...but I know it probably wouldnt have worked out that way. Well...lamarcus was out for the whole, or majority of his rookie season, so he probably wouldnt have affected the outcome of the following year's draft, thus it would have allowed us to draft Joakim and...haha. That being said, F it...I'm not complaining one bit with what we have!

We would have gotten Noah no matter what considering we had the Knicks lottery pick that year! Remember we swapped picks with them for the Curry trade?

Not sure what the point of playing him 6 minutes a game is. Either play him over Bogans or don't play him till he's ready.

Kind of what I was thinking. If he's healthy enough to be out there then he needs to get all of Bogans minutes or atleast the vast majority of his 16 minutes. Doesn't make much sense to only play him 6 minutes.

Someone put Rose's box scores from last night and tonight next to each other on Wikipedia under the entry for "Definition of Versatile Offensive Weapon."

Gibson needs to rebound.

Anyone dissing on Noah's game wasn't watching him.

Omer is legit --- Very importantly he isn't letting these "Welcome to the NBA, you freaky Turkish giant." calls get to him. He is sticking to his guns, beasting on the blocks and taking the charges. A season of this, and the BS block calls will start going his way more often. Having a legit backup center on a peanuts contract who is pretty young is huge for us, not to mention the twin towers Noah+Omer look.

If we get a legit SG, and somehow finagle a finals appearance, LA won't tower over us in the paint.

Teams have to game plan for two different Rose's -- One that stabs you with his thorns, the other that makes his garden smell better with.... Metaphor is failing, but you get the idea.

Yeah, its pathetic. I hope Derrick never goes that route. Roy sounds like a whiny lil bitch out there complaining about everything.

I loved Rose's 13 assists. Those 6 TO's are very misleading though. Most of them came in garbage time with like 5 mins left in the game and the Bulls up big.

Oh and was anyone at the game to see the typical thing where the Bulls players talk about what not to do at the game? That was the most emotion that I ever seen Derrick Rose with.

Yup he can say that as long as he wants as long as we win and people are hitting their shots.

I hope he learns fast because we going to need him at the line at least 10 times a night in the playoffs

It wasn't really garbage time, those three straight terrible possessions by Rose. There were 5 to 6 minutes left and the Bulls were up 9 or 11. It was pure crap, a dribbling into trouble TO, an out-of-control charge, then another TO.

The rest of the game he did right.

They were all in sequence though, and it really didn't look like the Blazers were in any sort of rhythm anyhow. I don't see how it really hurt them.

Nice to see Omer getting some credit. Love the fact that This left him out there with 5 fouls.

Keep playing Korver with Rose and he'll be worth about 2 assists a night to Derrick - at least.

His assisted rate was 93% last year. That's crazy as D Rose would say.

Great Game, Bulls are fun to watch. If Boozer is good we are a eastern conference finals contender. If Lu as a third scoring option on a team this deep is scary. Next Bull to break 35 not named Rose= Watson :D

I think I might have to re-evaluate my opinion of L. Alderidge.

I always thought he was soft, and he still is- I just didn't know he was silky.

I think I might have to admit he is better than TT, which woud be a big breakthrough.

Rose struggled against the zone and the double-team trapping, but he's going to see a lot of varying defenses this season.

Getting double-digits on ASTs demonstrates that he's adjusting.

In the future I expect that he'll improve on the TOs.

REFS: The refs were out of control tonight. It was painful watching the game with all the calls. At one point, I think there were 4 fouls in less than 15 seconds. They nearly fouled out our entire front court!

LUOL: I want to love him, I really do. But, I can't help but cheer for him to keep playing out of his mind, so that Denver relents and trades Melo. I just can't help but dream about Rose, Noah, Boozer and Melo plus ______ at SG.

OMER: I thought he took a charge on that blocking call. He blocked a shot with his arm pit. Even on Rose's fastbreak, Asik was the only Bull in the picture and he was right there ready for the tip, had Derrick missed.

KORVER: Hit some nice shots tonight and played good D. Pretty much saw the player we expected.

BREWER: Hit some shots, showed improvement. Most of his minutes went to JJ tonight, which seemed fair after what JJ did the last game.

NOAH: He's getting better and better on offense. I'm completely comfortable when he brings the ball up or runs the break. What a luxury to have in a 7-footer!

JJ: Made some bad passes and didn't seem to know what to do on offense. He's just not good inside of a half court offense. He's been at his best when things break down.

CJ: Somehow Thibs needs to get this guy to be a part of our offense, so he can get his shot going. It's torture watching him, though he did get in the lane for a nice layup.

TAJ: I was cool with his game tonight. He hit some shots and took it to the hole with authority. Still wondering where his rebounding went.

BOGANS: Hmm, uh well, he was kinda ___________  Ok, I have to show some love for the job he did guarding Roy during the 16 mins he was on the court.

ROSE: Ran the team well tonight, found the open man most of the time. They were absolutely keying on him and had Camby down low ready to block his shot. The turnovers mostly came from him trying to burn some clock in double teams. Not an excuse, he needs to pass out of those situations and not always try to dribble out of trouble.

Deng plays terrible: Trade him because he sucks.

Deng plays terrific: Trade him while his value is high.

Conclusion: Keep the 25 year old good offense, great defense, good rebounding, perfect 3rd option compliment to Rose and Boozer.

Pretty sure Deng only had 4 points in the 4th quarter. Typical disappearing act.

Nicolas Batum = Pippen 2.0.

Oh I'm totally seeing the Pippen comparison. But I'd say more like Pippen 0.2
