The Blazers will cut Jeff Pendergraph.

As we're looking at adding another big, he might be worth giving a shot.
He's only 6'9, but does rebound pretty well and can block a shot here and there.

I think he tore his knee up and is done for the season.

How about future 2nd rounder for Ryan Hollins?

Hollins isn't worth his contract, even at 2.3 million. The TWolves were happy to get someone else to pay it.

At this point, it's clear the team needs to bring in a 3rd C and a legit SF, and perhaps an instant offense off the bench.

How about the rights to Sofo and a 2nd rounder to POR for Rudy Fernandez?

Then, with our cap space, get JR smith. I think we only have $5m and he makes $6m so we'll have to throw in like Warren.

I would be all for picking up Rudy but that offers not going to get it done. Portland seems pretty high on him again and from what Ive seen he is back playing well.

Not sure if Detroit would do this or if salaries match, but DeAndre Jordon for Austin Daye could be a good trade for both teams.

Josh Smith for Kaman works. Atlanta might be looking to move Smith now they've signed Horford and need so watch their salaries....or bigger:

Baron Davis
Chris Kaman
vs
Josh Smith
Mike Bibby
Zaza Pachulia

This is not exactly saving Atlanta money and Baron just doesn't fit next to a ball dominant shooting guard like Joe Johnson.

I also don't like it for us, cause I don't think Smith would fit. He's a power forward in this league who can't guard small forwards and we'd end up having the same problem as the Hawks, with Griffin already on the team.

The Clippers would need to receive a C back if Kaman were traded. No way would the Clippers be interested in taking on Ben Gordon's contract, it ends in 2013-14 if he exercises his player option on it in the last year for over 13 million, which isn't even a question. He doesn't fit at all as an undersized SG that would backup Gordon.

If you guys were to fall out of playoff contention and Kaman continues to struggle, would you be in favour of trading Kaman for cap relief or are you looking for a star in return? With cap relief you can find a star in free agency thats why I was wondering cuz the Raptors have Bosh TPE worth $14.5 that would take Kamans whole contract off ur hands without the Clippers taking back any salary. Obviously if this deal were to go down it would happen closer to the deadline where the Clippers would have a better idea of where their team stands.

Kaman for just cap space won't happen.
His contract is up in 2012 and instead of having nothing it's better to get those 11 and 9 every game.

So you either take on Baron Davis as well(without Calderon or any other long term contract coming our way) or you've got to add some youth and/or picks on top of that TPE to get Kaman.

Would you do Kaman, Baron, Aminu, 2012 Minny pick for G. Wallace, Augustine, N. Mohammed (exp.) and Desagna Diop (3 more years of $7mil a year) if Bobcats accepted?

We'll have

Augustine/Bledsoe/Foye
Gordon/Butler/Foye
Wallace/Gomes
Griffin/Smith
Mohammed/DJ

Take out that Minny pick and I'd do it.

Though, I don't think we'd trade for a guy like Wallace(I also couldn't see them moving him in such a deal) if we're to trade Baron and Kaman. Younger guys and/or picks(if possible) would be the way to go.
