I think Memphis will keep Marc Gasol, since Thabeet is still rough. Randolph is the one they might give up if Arthur could step up.

As for Mayo, I like him a lot. And while Memphis has signed Gay and Conley big contract (Gasol maybe too), it seems that they may not stick with Mayo two years later. However, you should know in summer 2012, the Pacers will need to resign Hibbert, which I don't think we'll have enough salary space to go after Mayo.

I certainly understand Atlanta wanting to re-sign Horford, but I think Horford's agent did him dirty. He got screwed. 5 years $60 million? Really? Seems to me a guy his size, with his budding potential could have hit the free agency market and cleared an offer for much more than that. Maybe not max contract size, but more than the average of $12 million a year.

I wonder if agent's are more spooked by the potential CBA issues than the owners.

Scoot, i agree, i think he got much less then i thought he would have, especially with the threat of roll backs in salaries in the NBA, i would have expected Horford's team to demand ceiling price. In any case, he was my dream free agent signing, everytime i thought about it, i knew how little chances it ever had so i guess him being off the market is a good thing, i can accept reality and not go through this entire season just wondering "what if".
