Hey if you do it through their fantasy draft system it's going to screw up their contracts, so you may be best off just swapping through the rosters with trades and making an association that way (then don't save the rosters and your normal game wont be screwed up either).

Deeply apologize...very sorry, but I haven't gotten to this yet. Any free time I've had, I've been playing the game itself. Will get this done THIS WEEK. That's a promise.

OK guys, I did half of the draft tonight, and I'll finish the rest of the draft today. Be here later tonight...I'll give you the lowdown on how we are going to sim.

Thanks for putting all the work into it. Again though, I'm concerned that if you're doing it through the "fantasy draft" mode, it may not work as planned. The game auto-generates contracts for all the players based off where they're drafted, and when I've played through an association guys like Turner and Wall are free agents after one season because they can get paid in free agency. I think it would be best to just go into edit rosters and just trade players around until the teams match up, then starting an association from there.

Otherwise rookie scale contracts are eliminated, and when it comes to trading players between teams it will be difficult because you'd need to post every single player in the league's new contract in order for us to match up trades within the salary cap.

I actually think doing it through the Fantasy Draft makes the most sense. Doing it through trades would take 20x as long, and the salaries would have to match (making the trades nearly impossible). Also, we weren't planning on doing in-season trades (were we?), so it won't really matter that the salaries are different. As long as we can SIM one season with all the correct rosters, we're good.

PK, thanks so much for putting so much time into this!

^^ Not true. If you go to edit rosters you're able to make trades without matching anything, just has to be 1 for one, or you can just assign players to teams.

i don't think we were planning on doing in-season trades so the salaries aren't as important.

Just so you all know, I did finish the draft. Things ran smoothly (That I can remember lol). I probably won't have time to do it tonight, but in case I do, this is how I'm simming...

I'll sim one month at a time. After each month, I'll give out records, stats, injuries, etc. I'll give you guys a few hours to tell me to make any changes, or whatever.
