Post#1 » by general » Wed Nov 3, 2010 12:49 am

I was Just watching The game and wondering why does one of Our Best scorers Crawford 6th man of the year Stay on the Bench So Long. Jason terry,Ginobli,JR smith all play most of the game and Crawford Doesnt But still Averages 2nd most on the team. It's just weird

WTF are you talking about?

Jamal Crawford - 91 MP, 30.3 MPG, good for 3rd on the team.

Look again Buddy crawford 21 mins 4-7fg =16pts Joe johnson 42mins 6-21fg=15pts and played double jamals minutes..Give jamal 42min he'll score 30ppg a night easy.Im just saying 6TH man of the year Needs more time then 21mins especially when he's shooting over 50% during the game

A) You're using a one game sample size.
B) Joe Johnson had 9 assists tonight, and only 2 TOs, and our ball movement was excellent when he was in.
C) We traded a lot more baskets while Crawford was in.

I get that you're a Crawford fanboy, but this is a terrible argument when for the season Crawford's been getting plenty of minutes. I mean going by just this game JJ Hickson is like a Top 3 PF in the NBA.

I confess when the Hawks couldn't buy a basket in the 3rd I was wondering why Jamal wasn't in there to shake things up, but it was an isolated incident. He normally gets tons of run.

Will See jamal's True Value once we dont re-sign him Which I Think will Be a mistake, Then Lets see who will save the starters When they get us in a hole. who else is gonna score 20ppg off the bench. Not many in the league That Can accept a Role Off the Bench and give you 20 any Night

Joe plays a lot of minutes because he has to play SF too since Evans is out.....

There are several reason why Jamal didn't play as much tonight and he usually does.
#1: Marvin was hot.
#2: JJ was passing the ball extremely well.
#3: The game was close. With a close game, we need to put our best defensive lineup out there who can also score points. That happens to be our starting 5. Jamal is greta but there is a reason why Larry took him out for Marvin, so JJ could move back to SG and Marvin could be in there at SF. Marvin's defense>Jamal's.

I think most of us would love Jamal back, but is Jamal willing to take a huge pay cut to stay on the team? I highly doubt he is more valuable to the team than JJ, Smith, or Horford.

Exactly. We all want him to stay but that doesnt mean he will. We know his value to this team. WTF
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Well it looks like the answer was a case of turf toe considering he didn't play in the Detroit game.

We were only a little bit better with Crawford than what we were the previous year with Murray.
So at this moment, the value of Crawford is not so high if you also think that he cost 10M while Murray was at less than 2M.

I prefer, even now, have Murray for 2M, and use 8M this season on another player by trading Crawford, and only use what we can use next summer.
Yes he sells some seats, something Murray won't, but on the impact, there is not so much difference. To be true, "there was", and not "there is" because I want to see how it turns with Drew.
