Go easy on me. This is my first thread of kind.

Nice job on the thread. Usually there is some discussion as to matchups and the like. So here goes:

It will be interesting to see JJ match up with Josh Smith at the PF. Two good athletes who like to take it to the basket.
Joe Johnson will light up Parker most likely at SG.
I think the SF match up is even with Moon and Marvin Williams, one of the few times this year we will be able to say that without being laughed off the site.
The C match up is pretty even as well, though Horford will probably outscore Andy by about 6 or so.
The PG match up should go our way as Mo should be itching to get after it after sitting for the first three games. If Mo's shot is off we will probably get blown out Tuesday.
I dont know much about Atlanta's bench, but I know Boobie is starting to shoot better, and Ramon looked like he i settling in a bit better as well. Hollins has played better than expected so if we have any chance to win we will need toget some good production off the bench on Tuesday night, otherwise the offensive firepower of the Hawks starters will be too much to overcome.

This will be a tough game, ATL is playing better this year and their offense and ball movement is much improved. They also have better wing play than us.

I remember when we would always dominate the Hawks.. Obviously not the case here tonight. On a positive note though, Hickson looked great tonight.

Mine was the same way when I watched it in standard def. Once I got to my HD tv's I didnt have any problems.



About the game.
-Good to see JJ can be a go to scorer, even if it was against Josh Smith.
-Anthony Parker takes some of the worst shots ever. He killed momentum on at least three seperate times by taking a horrible shot that had no chance of going on.
-It was great to see Mo back. He could clearly be our best player.

Not a Marvin Williams fan, but he does play much better when he doesnt have to work on the defensive end. Moon was invisible tonight, its going to be hard to win without a SF in the game.

He had nice form last year but he couldn't make it. This year he's making them.

Yep, most of them have never had to. That's where not having a go to guy that can get their own absolutely kills you. Doesn't have to be a star, but even a Jamal Crawford type would do it.

On the plus side, Hickson continues to look good and before long all the haters will have to acknowledge he isn't a product of LeBron. He's a product of his ability to move without the basketball.

Hickson needs to work on his rebounding and paint presence. He eerily reminds me of a younger Jamison.

Maybe I didn't notice young Jamison very much since he was out west at that time. But I don't think their games are at all alike. Hickson is more of a high post player. He's undersized for the 4, but he's also way quicker than just about anyone that plays the position as well. He's never going to be one to overpowers people in the post.

Marvin had monster game, our SF is so weak that bum SF have monster games.

I really like how Hickson's coming along, since Josh Smith is kind of on the trade block, let's trade for him? He can play SF just fine. Even though Marvin Williams himself would be a better option for us.
