OT: Authentic Kobe for NBA 2K12

Post#1 » by H00PDREAMS » Tue Nov 2, 2010 7:54 pm

I am not sure where this guy or girl works but the folks at 2KSports need to hire him or her. Check out these caps. They are the best I have seen. The current Kobe model looks pretty bad in all honesty. It barely resembles KB at all. BUT this version is dead on. Check them out.

You'd think that since he was on the cover they would motion cap his face and his moves lol 2K was lazy that year they just used Kobe to sell because 2K10 wasn't that great

I liked it. They could have used some improvements, but that goes with any hoops game. I don't get why guys like Teague, Blair and Delfino don't have photos on the game, or why guys like Jerebko and Budinger get called "#33" and "#10" instead of their names.....

I'm rambling. My bad. Those Kobe shots are nice.

I feel ya both on this one. Nothing was worse than be really into a game to notice someone was getting called by their number and notice that the commentators somehow knew his name. WEIRD? Nah just lazy!

WoW you hit the nail on the head with the Kobe not being capped completely. Kobe should have shut that down but I guess if you dont play games much you could imagine he was just flattered.

if anything they need to do more work with Bynum. His 2k portrayal is MUCH worse than Kobe's.

How can he go from cover guy with a face game to Sam Cassell's cuz in a year.

Last year they were showing all these close ups of his face. It must be a new engine but do your homework.

Kobe broke the cover boy curse. The Celtics big 3 were on the cover for 2009 and that didn't go so well!
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

I think who ever gets assigned to do the Kobe, Bynum and Gasol's caps on 2K are straight up Laker haters. Either that it was rushed. KB was on the cover last year goodness he should've been been first.

From what I hear 2K may have taken heat from Jordan's camp. I think Kobe could've took such a stand.
But its MJ, ya know he isn't gonna put his mug on the cover if it aint tight. Like Haynes Underwear, love their stuff its quality LOL!
