Clippers are losing games but fun to watch

Post#1 » by PG3 » Tue Nov 2, 2010 10:32 pm

I know we're 0-4 but looking at it optimistically, we are a fun team to watch. All the highlight plays we have just makes the team exciting and it almost makes u forget that we havent won a game yet :P

I've felt the same way, the only loss that has had me upset was the loss to Golden State.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

I'm not that upset about the losses. Would I rather win? Of course, but I also know who we have had to play. The first 9 or so games were going to be tough, even if we were playing very well. 3 losses have come against 50 win playoff teams. We have only beat the Warriors 3 of our last 12 match-ups.

What has disappointed me has been 2nd half effort and execution (or lack thereof), giving up offensive rebounds and miserable shooting percentages. There are a couple of players that I'm very disappointed in, but they are not the only guilty culprits.

I'm still hopeful that there will be growth and improvement, but that could take some time. There are some things that have impressed me and keep me hopeful for the future. I am person who is going to focus on things from a positive, productive, glass-half full perspective.

First half has been fun to watch for sure.

2nd half not so much. Especially 3rd quarters :(

There has been nothing fun to watch about the 4 defeats. Each one has been brutal.

LOL what. Did you miss the "Eric GordAn destroys rookie" thread? Or the Blake Griffin highlight dunks?

Yes--the losses have been frustrating and terrible but there have been fun moments, indeed. Losing isn't fun....BUT DUNKING SHO IS

kings fan here.
I completely agree, I love watching your team play. I got League Pass broadband this year (the cheap one, you can choose up to 7 teams). The Clips were one of the first to go on the list. Blake would have been worth it alone, but I like watching Gordan and Kaman as well. Liked what I saw out of Al-Farouq in the preseason, haven't seen much of him so far tho. Anyways good luck, hope the clips pick it up.. just not when playing my kings :p/ anyways peace out clip nation.

Griffin and EJ are good to have and enjoyable to watch(and our youngster, when they're given a chance), but I still don't get it.

I mean, what's fun about watching your team losing games? :dontknow:
Especially if it's always the same routine, giving away the game in the 2nd half...

Thanks, but the props belong to Kerrsed over at the Suns board.
He's got his own "sig shop" thread over there.
So if you're in need for a sig, I'd recommend it to you. ;)
