If Lamar keeps up with the way he's playing now, it'll be BS if he doesn't make it.

Another question is, will Pau be an all-star STARTER?

Kobe, Pau, LO and if Bynum can average around 15-16 points and around 9-10 rebounds we might have 4 all stars lol

Lamar always has stretches like these, let's settle down. We've played the Suns and Warriors for 2 of our 3 games, two teams Lamar always dominates.

This year, if any year. He absolutely deserves it thus far.

He could make it. But he will not be a starter all year. Unless AB comes off the bench. There are just to many great starters out there to make LO a starter AllStar. He could make it as a reserve. Kobe/Pau/LO...It could happen. There might be a injury to another teams top reserve and LO might sneak in there.

After him playing all summer and 40 games or more in the first half of the season. I think he would love to have a few days off to keep ready for the second half and playoffs.

As for the question he will NOT make the allstar game.

He has to beat out his own teammate Pau, Duncan, Dirk, Al Jefferson, David West, etc.

No chance he makes it.

I don't think he'll make it due to the other good forwards out in the West, including Gasol.

the forward position is too packed in the west, ranging from gasol, dirk and duncan to jefferson, aldridge, and west...odom is in the middle of the pack. he has a fair shot, but probably not by vote, but by coach votes

he needs to keep starting even with Bynums return, I dont see this of consistency out of him if he is reverted back to the bench.

he'll be out a majority of the season and won't get many votes from fans and coaches to even make the team.

pau kobe and lamar should make the team.

hes playing great right now, but this is way too early.. a week and a half? 4 games? gimme at least 20 for anybody.. dont tell me were gonna start to throw out wilson chandler, dorell wright, darrell arthur, and say they deserve all star recognition. after bynum comes back, odoms gonna have his humble 6th man role back and our bench is gonna be the super renegade.

Bynum won't make it - already missing portion of season + most people forget once he does return he has to get accustomed to real NBA game-time, and that itself will be a work in progress.

LO definitely if he keeps playing at this high level consistently & only question for Pau is whether he starts/remains healthy to do so.

I'm sorry but this isn't nothing that we haven't seen him do before. Still it's good to see Odom playing well. I like our starting five so much more with him there.

yea if he keeps this up he will be an all star. and as long as the fans have a say so in voting, it could happen! Remember Shaq, Van Exel, Eddie Jones, Kobe made it all one yr....thanks to the voters in LA LOL!

If he starts till then I can definitely see him getting some consideration. His team USA performances have out him in the good eyes of several coaches around the league.

Jones/Van Excel made it by coaches voting not the fan but it helped that year we had the best record at the break. Odom will def. have to get voted in by the coach he is not going to surpass Duncan/Dirk for the starting spot. I def. think his chances are better with Boozer/Amare now in the east, but now there is Aldrige, Milsap emergence.
