Guarding Kobe

Post#1 » by panfish » Wed Nov 3, 2010 3:35 pm

I think A. Wright will get some time tonight in an effort to slow down Kobe. He's had some success in the past with this assignment, even though Kobe knocked a game winner over his outstretched hand last year at buzzer of Lakers vs. Raptors.

Could there possibly be a Donte sighting? .. I remember him defending Kobe pretty decent last year.. or is he in the dog house for a while longer?

I'm more concerned about Gasol.

Donte will certainly get some minutes tonight. He did so well against him last year, coming up with huge blocks and such. Gasol has dominated us in the past but tonight i dont think so. With the additions D Cuz and Dalembert Gasol going to have a much more difficult time inside.

I've always liked Cisco's defense on Kobe.

No reason this can't go in the game thread.
