Re: OT: If you could bring back a Sitcom...

Post#41 » by ShowNTell » Wed Nov 3, 2010 6:03 pm

The sad thing is that, no channel on Cablevision shows the reruns of this show, I have to resort to looking at youtube clips. Every year I tell myself Im going to buy the full seasons on dvd, but I forget to. If a channel would pick it up, I'd watch the reruns religiously.

FYI : My favorite episode, and seen ever!

wow great topic. I'm going to have to say Friends though. Everyone on the show was just great and still to this day I can still laugh my ass off watching it, even though I know 90% of the lines.

My second choice is a no doubter as well, Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Martin was very funny first 3 seasons or so. But I would probably go with Seinfeld. I have no doubt they could bring back those characters now and it would be very funny...

I was pretty bummed when they canceled Testees. That show had endless possibilities.

"You work at a place called Testico???"

Other shows that had were funny, had there run and ended, probably wouldnt be as funny if they came back

Wonder years!!! I used to love that show. I know they all got old and the show had to end, but it was great while it lasted. Que the music... Whiney Cooper.
Boy meets world reminded me of it since its Fred's little brother.

Yeah that was a great show but I remember they didn't make a lot of episodes and it always felt like you were watching the same episodes again. What was that other Nick show with the two brothers? I don't remember the name of it but it was such a quirky show...

You guys remember the TMNT PSA's?

I remember a lot of "don't do drugs" commercials in the early 90s.

I wish Dilbert was back on the air, that was a smart, hilarious animated sitcom and something I could relate to especially now that I'm a cubicle dweller as well. Also Seinfeld of course... after that probably Wings, Newsradio, and Knights of Prosperity.
