I liked the rotation that Rick used tonight. Jeffries stayed on the bench, Hayes did not get extended minutes, Yao in in the final minutes but still not a fan of Martin on the floor in crunch time.

Hornets' starting back court combined for 43 points. End of story.

Oh yeah Hill played in the game and he should have benched Scola if he was not giving you anything on the offensive end and hurting you on the defensive end.

no one knew scola was going to play this bad tonight. from watching previous games scola has been our go to guy when no one else could score so i guess rick was waiting on him the whole night and he never came through.

Nawleans length inside really bothered Scola. But its not his fault since We can't seriously expect Scola to average 27 for the season.

Yeah I know but if he has yet to find his game then you can go to Hill. You should play the hot hand and Hill was doing work on defense

The Rocket and as do all Houston other teams have the curse of being a second half team

I think it mat be time to take a look at Lowry in the starting lineup for defense. Brooks defense and decision making has been horrible. I think it may also be time for Battier to provide his services from the bench as well. His shot looks terrible, and his defense is no better than Bud's at this point. Time to start holding players accountable.

Well his backup plays 3x as much defense as he does.

our lack of 4th qtr stretch strategy was awful. And I don't even know why it has to be complicated. In a close game coming down the stretch Rick has to have Yao & Martin out there with our 3 best defenders. On offense, 2 man game with Yao/Martin, either high pick'n'roll, or Yao in the post. This is how the team was constructed to work.

gah.

The way I see it, Rockets have too many bigs and uncertainty at SF with Battier arguably better off coming off the bench.

Solution: Trade a big man to the Suns - who need one desperately - for a Suns wing like Childress or even Hedo Turk
