Good to see DJ step to the line and casually hit those two FT's with 30 secs to go.

Hitting those then boxing out Lopez and diving on that loose ball basically won us the game.

Nice young fella. Nice.

Wish you had hit your open shots tonight though!!

No Diaw love tonight? Shocker.

See, when DJ plays good, fundamental defense and brings the ball up the floor quickly we can win a game. Good job DJ.

And that "jumpball" call, good God I would have killed somebody if I was Crash.

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=301103017

Augustin got his free throws when fouled by Harris on a drive on the wing.

Augustin said that Jackson told referee Haywoode Workman that Harris was using his knee to defend, and that's the call Augustin got on the game-winning free throws.

"I think it helped a lot," Augustin said. "Referees respect Jack and that helped me get the call. It was big."

Well, that's interesting.

Refs respect Jackson?

Clearly DJ was referring to someone else...

Yeah, you could have fooled me. So I guess just b/c a ref T's you doesn't mean he ain't listening.

I'm just glad the Cats got a win before murderers row coming up on the schedule.

So I went to a bar at the beginning of ht to meet some peeps and watch half two. But I got to the bar, which was Irish, but in Raleigh and was told the game couldn't be shown because the Celtics were on. I realized eventually that the real reason was that they had Directtv, so the game was actually totally unavailable to a popular place in Raleigh, but I managed to accurately dvr the 2nd half today, so I've just seen the finish.

Way to go Cats! Every victory counts, even one like that.

Blow. It. Up. Now.

Someone had to say it after a win.

Well, it could go to OT and they T-Will and Morrow would fouled out probably. And Lopez out with his shoulder maybe So I guess we would have pretty good chances either way. Fouled Nazr on our side wouldn't be that much of a difference I guess.

It was good to see DJ be allowed to run the point for extended mins last night. We looked good when he did it. He got things going and made some fantastic quick decisions with the ball and put his passes on point.

Exactly why I gave him the bronze hammer, he always seemed in control of the team, and I like that he was able to move the ball up court quickly and start the offense with some good quick decisions. Hopefully he'll keep that up, because if he plays like a real good PG, then all we need is for Jackson to wake up and stop drinking, and I think we'll be fine.

Yeah, him not doing that was killing our already stagnant offense those first three games.
