if his tweet was "I need to change" I would think differently.

Sam Presti's first biggest mistake as a GM.

He needs to quit being a crybaby, and take some responsibility for himself. The guy looked like a heaping pile of **** last night

I refute my statement...

Sam's first biggest mistake was drafting Jeff Green.

James Harden was his second.

Alright, here's the solution.

Orlando sends Brandon Bass + future 2nd to OKC

OKC sends James Harden to Orlando

we cool? :)

Hindsight is 20-20. I think most everybody agreed we needed to draft a two guard, and harden looked to have the tools. We need shooters, I still don't think tyreke would be a good fit here. But, we definitely missed on steph curry.

I think he still has the me-first mentality that he had at Arizona State and it's everyone else's fault but himselfs. Looks like he still has some maturing to do.

he is still a young guy who has maturity issues. Yes he is playing real bad but lets be patient he will get better. He is only 21 no need to give up on him yet, and that saying something considering Im usually one to overreact.

I never gave up on him, But tweeting "I need a change" sure sounds like he has given up on this team. If that's not what he meant, then you tell me?

btw, Nice to meet you guys, ive been lurking this forum for awhile, thought i might chip in

I think you might be on to something. Because when I read his tweet it screamed to me something to the effect of,

"I need to learn how to finish at the rim" , or,
"I need to learn to take better shots" , or,
"I need to not go straight up in the paint with three guys who are 6'9" or better, so I don' get my shot blocked into next week"

I love it when guys play like crap and then they want to start. I have a novel idea for you James, how about you play like a freaking All-Star. Then you have a legit gripe for not starting.

It's all about instant gradification with these kids! Have they never heard about paying their dues? Harden doesn't deserve to start not he way he is playing today. And if Brooks gives him the start, I'm going to have serious concern for this team because to me it looks like Brooks is afraid to bruise some ego's.

Blazers fan here.

Your team is stocked with good/great players. This team is not complete but its very close. I see you guys making a deal for a big, i don't know who would be a candidate for the center position but with players like Harden etc. you guys can get a good center through draft or trade to play with KD and RW as your core guys. I see Serge as a starting PF of this team, and you should get a SG who will shoot threes like James Jones of the Miami Heat. James Harden is not a player that will only be in the corner and just jack up threes, he needs the ball in his hands more.

Thats my take on this team.

I can't say that I disagree with your statement about Harden being most effective when the ball is in his hands because he truely can distribute the ball, shoot or get to the rack. A triple threat.

He can do a lot, however this season he has just stunk, maybe it is the "Sophomore Slump"? Yep I put it out there. I just hope the kid takes a breath and shakes it off.

I was not a huge fan of the pick at the time. I had concerns about his tourney showing, and his hops. But at the combine he proved me wrong and is an exceptional athlete. So that left me with just the tourney showing to have questions about. Still though you could see the kid has game. I just wasn't sure if he was worth the #3 pick. Last year though, we witnessed the guy do a little bit of everything and we are just thinking if he truely does put it all together he would be a sensation fit with Durant and Westbrook. He just needs for the ball to actually go through the net. His "D" was relatively good for a rookie. The kid can play.

That being said, I agree that OKC could really use a true #2 scoring option. Right now I'm willing to package any two players on this roter and the Clipers pick not named Durant ad Westbrook to bring in a legit player who is an All-Star.

Seriously make a package give two up of Ibaka, Harden or Green.

I'd rather be known as the big 3 than the really deep 8.

Just so in four months we can all look back on this and laugh.

James Harden 4 games 22.2min 0.174 fg%, 0.100 3pt%, 0.700 ft%, 4ppg, 2.5rebs, 0.8dimes, 0.8stls, 0.2blks and 1.2 TO's.

Close to half a game in minutes and he has given us nothing!

If I was James Harden I'd be pissed. The way he's been jerked around with minutes since last season has been ridiculous, and it's gotten worse this year. Preseason is when you get your rotations set, and Harden (while he hasn't played well) gets pulled quicker than any other player on the team.

Twitter is absolutely ridiculous. If this is true, overreacting to a silly "tweet" FTW.
