How is it possible that you guys are listening to our commentators, don't your commentators speak on away games? I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I was just wondering how is it that you guys hear our commentators, even on Magic's away game we still have David and Matty speaking unless it's a nationally televised game.

League Pass

Oh, gotcha.
By the way, Matty, who is one of our commentator, makes fun of everyone, even our team.

it was easy to predict that those two games would be blowouts. chalk the next game as a loss too, although they should be a little more competetive at home. game at houston should be a good benchmark. will they roll over again or put up a fight? back-2-back in cali after that. just a brutal schedule to begin the season.

How dare a coach ask a player to expand his game!

That's not what I meant. It's fine that he's asking players to expand there game. I'm just thinking asking Beasley to do too much too early could hurt his confidence and performance (Like what I think happened to Flynn last year). I'll give rambo credit that he seems to be moving along the players more slowly this year (allowing more Pick'n'roll, putting up with mistakes/poor play (unless your Love) )

Ellington, Brewer, Pavlovic, Darko.

I don't think this is very fair.

Ellington - Went from being a start to getting less minutes than Hayward.

Brewer- Went from being an 82 game start to coming off the bench the first 3 games, and he didn't get his option picked up.

Pavlovic - Averaged under 13 minutes per game last year and wasn't brought back.

Darko - Who else are we going to play? Cousins? I'd argue that liking Wes and disliking Cousins' attitude had more impact on the pick than Darko.

It's not fair....just needed to vent some rambis hate and I went a bit overboard:

Ellington - Saw minute reduction but should've been taken out of the MIA game much sooner and not put back in....to much Zen Master wanna be "let them find their way out" stuff going on there.

Brewer - I'm actually glad he's getting minutes. I still like him as an energy/defender, and am willing to put up with the boneheaded mistakes/lapses. I still think he get's a chance to redeem himself more than other players (maybe showcasing for a trade?, but probably due to the lack of healthy wings we have right now)

Pavlovic - Shouldn't have played at all for the majority of the season....those minutes should've went to Ellington.

Darko - I was thinking Pek should get some more time, but now I remember he can't stop raping people....At least Kouf can put the ball in the basket (but then we're giving up our D)..

Oh what I'd give for some two-way players. Beasley and Wesley look like the only ones we have. Webster should be added once he comes back, and I still have hopes that Brew and Darko can turn on some more O...and that Flynn will have improved on D. Pek should also become better and think he's done fine defensively so far (he just has to get used to the NBA game).

I think this could be a case of Rambis knowing that 1) he had to play someone and 2) Ellington was going to the bench anyway so it didn't matter if he played a ton of minutes and was tired for tonight's game. :dontknow:

No kidding. I'm really starting to by into the hype that we should move Love for J Smoove, Iggy, or Granger, go with Dr. K's suggestion of Peko + whatever's necessary for Bynum (or Oden), and move SuperCool to PF. Maybe I'm being overly patient and Rambis and under patient with Love, but I'm really beginning to think that the answer to, "Keep Love or Jefferson?" is neither.

I give Rambis credit for at least shaking up the 2/3 minutes, he gave Hayward his shot after he showed up in small minutes in previous games and he didn't do much w/ his 24 minutes. There's not much more you can do, but at least he's letting everybody have their opportunity to play and carve out a role if they can. Even Darko's minutes are getting slashed. He's at least trying to mix it up and try out things. :/ I don't know, I think we just gotta put up with being a bad team for now until the team gets healthy and has a chance to play together and build their rapport with each other

His rotations are still garbage, even when they get back.

It's not like he has a lot to work with. We did just lose our best player in Al Jefferson. Everyone is saying we should improve, but everyone's gone. Rambis isn't to blame. We have a rebuilding roster.

This year is supposed to be a step forward. Al Jefferson is gone because we wanted him gone. These aren't legitimate excuses. It's one thing to get blown out by 20, it's another thing to get blown out by 40 in back to back games. This is unacceptable.

I read lots of excuses for lackluster play ... losing by 30 is one thing, but losing by 30 and we're clearly out-hustled is another. Rambis HAS to start taking accountability for the "lack of will" this team is showing.

Laimbeer for head Coach: FRick ... our bigs are also playing like wussies and he spends alot of time working with them ... check that idea off. Geez, even Pek is smiling now and seems unconcerned when he messes up.

Rambis' head coaching skills are proving inadequate, especially, due to the fact he's now shown he can't even motivate them to work hard - shameful for a young team. As a fan, you will not see these types of performances (effort-wise) if the coach is respected by and emotionally tied to his players. It's a cut and dried issue right now, and realistically, not a debateable one.

Dwayne Casey is still the guy I feel got hosed ... we played far worse after he was fired and Taylor never took any heat (well, I guess he is the owner). I wish he was on staff.

I can't believe how bad K-Love is defensively. To be succesful he needs to be on a team with a super athletic center who makes us for his defensive liabilities.

He also cannot be the focus of the offense. Whenever the ball goes down in the post to him it just stops. Other teams know they don't have to double so his passing abilitity basically becomes moot. His best suited as a third or fourth option where he go an just crash the boards as opposed to initiating the offense.

I messed up, let me reword it. Rambis is partially to blame, as is Kahn for not drafting Stephen Curry (thank you Captain Hindsight), and so is the injury curse. Trading our best player hurts, we have the second lowest payroll in the NBA far below the lux tax (I'm implying that we could afford more talent IF we wanted to be better this season), and our 5th pick isn't playing yet. With that said, I have never ever been a Rambis fan at all, but he shouldn't deserve all the blame.

Of course Rambis takes some heat for this team allowing itself to loose by 42, that should just never happen ever, especially when following two other 20+ losses.

BUT, this team is very young, doesn't have three of its probably best four players out there on the floor (B-Easy, Webster, and Flynn), another of the top players is getting in the mix off a hamstring (Wes), and plus you have another piece who is trying to learn the NBA game (Pek). I'm sorry, but with all that, plus a team that doesn't have any built up chemistry, plus a coach just in his 2nd year here, plus playing two of the best teams in the NBA on the road, back to back, it just wasn't a good set up AT ALL. I was thinking more 30 point loss here, but I'm not shocked it got out of hand, that does happen, there's franchise records for a reason, there will come a time when things don't work out.

Once we get everyone healthy, we'll then watch and see what this team has. If we continue to struggle, then yes, I will start to worry. At this point though, I'm not surprised by the results the last two games.

If we'd got blown out when we were healthy then there'd be some worry. But until that happens it's not time to worry.

To put it in context, during pre-season Beasley and Webster were arguably our best 2 wing players. On Orlando our 2 best wing players were a Johnson still adjusting to the NBA and Corey Brewer.

That's a good point. Consider how good Miami would be without it's two best wing players.
