Were Raja and AK hurt or benched in the 2nd half?

Miles went 5/6 from beyond the arc.

CJ was playing well and Ronnie Price too so Raja got some good rest. Sloan went with the hot hand. AK had trouble matching up with Bargnani, and Elson was playing well.

Benched...they just had a bad game. But Deron, Millsap, Al and Miles were amazing. Miles went off from downtown in the 3rd and 4th quarter.

Surely not Jerry Sloan. We all know the man never deviates from his strict substitution patterns.

I'm not sure I would agree that's been the general rule, but I definitely thought that was the case tonight.

Francisco Elson, by the way, continues to make a positive impact in limited minutes.

I actually like seeing Fes and Elson in at the same time. Elson looks to be quick enough to guard most 4's. I didn't get to watch the game but it sounds like it was a good one.

Jay Triano dropping F-Bombs on tv when talking about Deron. He must have taken some pages out of Sloan's book.

I'm still a bit worried about how thin our bench is. Our main 5 are getting a lot of burn. When our second unit came in last night they stunk it up. That kinda **** ain't gonna fly on the road during back to backs (see next weeks ORL/MIA)...

I still think we got time to bring it together though. I'm rootin for em!

Great game by the Jazz and especially CJ Miles for stepping up and hitting big shots when we needed them most.

Is anyone else feeling like Raja Bell is over the hill and really missing Wesley Matthews right about now? Man, if we had Matthews starting alongside Deron...we might just be an unstoppable force....

Liked the 27pts and 4 O rebounds from Jefferson. A bit surprised he only got 2 defensive boards in 40 minutes of play though. I'm not sure it's a good thing when your PG outrebounds your forwards.

What game were you watching? CJ Miles had his best game of the season, and Ronnie Price played phenomenally as well. Even Francisco Elson had a strong showing. That's three guys right there.

He was too busy boxing out Reggie Evans. Apparently that was the gameplan.

Great gameplan. I thought Evans would destroy us on the glass but I was gladly proven wrong.
