GG you guys.

The Lakers team looks very very good. Almost scary good. When most of the Lakers guys convert their shots and execute the offense, I don't think any team in the NBA (maybe outside of 1-2 teams) can top the Lakers.

Long time reader, first time poster. Lakers fan from Sydney and caught the game today and just wanna say Kobe looked really good out there and seemed liked he was toying with them at times, the Lakers are on cruise control to start the year and every time it looks as if they may be challenged they just pull away again, great start to the season.

Forget Kobe's triple double... Fisher made a lay-up!

Solid win. I know our defense isn't looking like the greatest thing since sliced bread, but we've played 3 of the 5 best offenses in the league (Kings, Warriors, Suns) and done a reasonable job. It's still early so maybe those teams won't keep up their ranks, but I kind of think they'll still all be top 10.

What we haven't faced yet is a good defensive team. Every last team we've faced is rated below average at the moment, and Toronto, our next opponent, is dead last. It'll be ugly.

Our offense is looking beastly though, even though the bench didn't really play well tonight. We're still getting HUGE leads early in the game and that's a good sign.

I've noticed dating back to last season that Kobe isn't looking so good in the 2nd halves of games. I hope that's not a trend that continues. How about that triple-double though? He almost had it in 3 quarters...

Kobe wouldn't have played the 4th had the bench not screwed up. We need a post player for the bench to work their offense from. Bynum or Gasol will make them run better.

WHAT?! Theo nearly received two passes! It's only a matter of time...

Looks like Barnes is on Artests heels. I know they play on the floor together sometimes but it appears...at least from last night that they are almost splitting time at the SF. its only been what 4 or 5 games and Barnes minutes are already up. Well deserved too might I add. He is a streaky shooter but his hustle is there every play. This will only push Artest to play harder and hopefully better. We are good to go at the SF position.

Both guys are playing enough PF minutes to keep busy but once Bynum returns its going to create some congestion there.

Guys, thanks for the beating. Also, thank you for letting us hang around in the first half and then finally deciding enough is enough. Our defense makes the young Kobe come out against us, I can't remember the last time he had a triple double. Until next time!
