How to improve? (Big 2, Nowitzki and James)

Post#1 » by Allright » Wed Nov 3, 2010 4:57 pm

12 Teams H2H, 11 Stats (%FG, %FT, PTS, 3PTM OREB, DREB, STL, AST, TO, A/TO, BLK)

Joe Johnson (Atl - SG,SF)
Jrue Holiday (Phi - PG)
LeBron James (Mia- SF)
Dirk Nowitzki (Dal - PF)
Troy Murphy (NJ - PF,C)
Andrew Bogut (Mil - C)
Andris Biedrins (GS - C)
Ben Gordon (Det - SG)
D.J. Augustin (Cha - PG)
Shelden Williams (Den - PF)
Mike Dunleavy (Ind - SG,SF)
Austin Daye (Det - SG,SF)

Just made a trade LeBron James for Rose and Kirlienko. Wanted to sell Rose high and i couldn't pass on James. Just added Shelden Williams but i am considering Derrik Favors.

Can you help improving my team. I am thin at PG who can i covet?

Thank for your help!

+1

You seem to have the ripping people off part down quite nicely. Keep doing that and you'll be fine.

Seriously, you have James, Johnson, Dirk, Murphy, Bogut, and Holiday. Thats crazy good in a 12 team league. You shouldn't have any problems.

Holiday isn't too great so far.
Daye sucks so far.
Biedrins is up and down.
James doesn't look so good up till now.

I think it's hard to improve without either taking a gamble and waiting for these players to find their rhythm, since their value is low at the moment.

Get rid of Joe Johnson for a Josh Smith and you will cost for the rest of the year.

Get a point guard who hits a lot of threes. Kidd would look good on your team, since you have scoring covered.

Thank you for your great help!

One more question maybe. What is the best asset i can ship without hurting my team too much?

Your core consists of Lebron, Dirk and Johnson. So you probably want to build around them. You probably will need help in assists, rebounds, and blocks. I'm not a fan of Troy Murphy this year with his wonky back. So I would try to ship him out. I know he helps in boards and thress but I just don't trust him. You can also sell high on Ben Gordon...Otherwise I would use Holiday's potential and hype along with Murphy to try a net a real solid star.
