Internally we're certainly that conceited. Outwardly the board is so intensely insular that most of the rest of the community doesn't have much of an opinion one way or the other. Many of the posters who represent the Wizards fanbase in more public venues, like the trade board, are actually fairly infrequent posters here. There is still, for all that, some caché to be had among the old hands of the wider community for those who've made their posting bones here.

Old enough to remember being happy to hear the Bullets traded Jack Marin for Elvin Hayes - a few years before RealGM opened up shop. Figure I'll be here till the 3rd version of Wes Matthews hits the NBA.

iirc roughly a year ago when he became greenskeeper of said greendale? that dude was like 4x my age when i first signed up.

the genboards are a madhouse. i do like reading some of the player comparison posts, and "statistical analysis".
