If Marvin is out we really need Jamal to be ready.

I would rather see us go big with:

Bibby
Joe
Josh
Al
Zaza

That would still leave us with some fire power off the bench and 3 bigs. I think Minny is the perfect team to let our bigs muscle around and abuse under the basket.

This would also allow us to dress JC1, but only play him if we need him.

I think the big lineup will see some run. Jordan Crawford should get some minutes too. Turf toe is an injury that can linger and nag. If not ready to play I'd keep Jamal out as long as needed at this point of the season.

Is Marvin out for sure? The only thing I read had him sounding pretty optimistic.

Marvin didn't make the trip to Minny.

thanks, I also just found the story on CBS Sportsline. I don't like that we're so thin, but at this point in the season caution is best. We should be able to adjust and handle the situation considering the opponent. If it were later in the season a 10 day contract could help our depth out for a while, but at this point we just have to tough it out.

Not that he'd be ready to play in any form, but I wonder what is the status of Pape Sy's back injury? It'd be nice to think he's at least practicing or possibly ready to see action in the D League soon.

I do know that Sy is out for the Minny game as well, as is Flynn and Webster. Beasley is questionable.

I figured he was still out, but I'm hopeful he can start practicing soon as he's lost so much time. Hopefully we can make use of the D league for a change because the kid needs to get some game experience.

Speaking of Sy, do we have any info on when he could be back? He's been listed as injured since very early in camp. I've been at the point where I even forgotten that he'd already come over from France. The injury seems a bit long to simply be day to day at this point...

I guess I'll put this here.

Mo Evans is going to be out against Phoenix and Orlando.

We really need him back asap and especially against the top tier teams in the league like Orlando.
