Has Moss asked for #88?

Oddly, I don't believe he has as he's still listed as wearing #81. I just figured now that (Kyle) Brady is gone. He would make an attempt to ask for the #88 since he wore that number at Marshall. I think Moss doesn't care about his jersey number, but...

84 at Minnesota

18 at Oakland

81 at New England

He has changed it every time he switches teams. Why would he change it now?

I just think that if the number was initially available. He would've asked for it. Moss didn't want to ruffle feathers in his first season as a Patriot so he spoke indifferently about it. Still, players in any sport would stick to their first jersey number from school if they'd the choice. I would guess most players don't because it's a matter of circumstances and not by choice. They aren't able to stick with that particular number.

No one has claim the number, thus far. That's why I'd asked if anyone knew the situation with eighty-eight.
