Week 9 Start Em, Sit Em

Post#1 » by JDP » Wed Nov 3, 2010 9:31 am

Pick 2 of the following 3 receivers :
Colston v. Carolina/ Bowe v. Oakland / Wallace v. Cincinnati

I originally had Colston and Wallace penciled in but now that Nnamdi is out for the game I'd like to know what you guys think.

i'd still stick with Colston & Wallace. Bowe hasn't done much this year regardless of who he's up against.

I concur.

How about my Flex:

Blount vs Atl , Greene vs Detroit or Tamme vs Philly

I need some opinions on who to start.

For my flex: S. Holmes vs. Det or B. Jacobs vs. Sea

For QB - M. Stafford vs. NYJ or J. Flacco vs. Mia

I'd do Bowe and Wallace. What exactly has Colston done this year either??? I like the chances with Nnamdi out. Just one man's opinion though

I'd go Jacobs. Holmes hasn't found his connection with Sanchez yet. Jacobs has 5 TD's on the year too.

Tough call, but I'd go Stafford vs the Jets.

Man, I think I'd go Tamme. Philly has given up a lot to TEs and Manning seems to look to Tamme the same way he did to Clark. I don't trust Greene and don't like Blount's matchup. Give Blount another breakout game until you pencil him in.

Schaub vs the Chargers or Stafford vs the Jets?
SD's coverage scares me more than the Jets, but Schaub is the better QB.

I'd go Holmes and Bess. I think Holmes is due to breakout. It's not like it would be that risky taking him either, since the others don't seem to offer much. Remember, Giants D is good and no Hasselbeck for Seattle.

Thanks. Ya I just saw that Hasselbeck is out. You can add Crayton to the list now too lol. Does that change anything?

Gates vs. Houston or Heap vs. Miami.

I thought Gates was a no brainer til I saw he hurt the plantar fascia in his right foot in addition to toe and ankle injuries in his left foot.

Patriots D vs. Cleveland or Giants D vs. Seattle?

I would go with Patriots D but I think they'll give up points late. No Hassellback or Crayton for Seattle so I think the Giants D will do well but its in Seattle and their crowd goes crazy.

Gates is now listed as doubtful. So should I go with Todd Heap or Zach Miller at TE this Sunday?

Jackson is a game time decision. If he's good to go then I'd go with him.

yea on the same boat as you, had to pick up Heap myself, I didn't realize gates was injured in the Ten game. Jackson is a go for sure now, just not sure if I can expect him to go like he did before the concussion......what are peoples thought on Atl D, can Williams get a 100yd day or a td?
