Hedo Turkoglu: "I feel a bit tired"

Post#1 » by GD2 » Thu Nov 4, 2010 5:00 pm

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/rumors/post ... nba-282120

"I feel a bit tired," Turkoglu told HoopsHype.com. "This was one great summer, but a very long one too. That is why I feel some fatigue. I went through training camp and now I am in the regular season. There simply is no time. I have to give my best and just move on. As soon as the World Championships were over, I flew to the States. There was no time for a vacation. It was important for me to come over here on time for training camp and the season."

I can't wait for the Hedo apologists to make excuses for this. The thought that we're gonna have to put up with this crap for four years is enraging.

If he's tired, bench him for a few games. Simple, no?

He's tired. Big deal? He'll do okay when we actually give him a role.

Oh gee Idk, he's been lazy and unmotivated his entire career when he's had the security of a contract, then he randomly explodes one year when he's up for extension or up for a new contract, thus netting him the MIP award because he went from bad to good so quickly. If you actually think about it and use logic, the MIP award is something that a player who only plays hard during contract years can easily win.

You're probably right though, former MIP winners like the following couldn't possibly be lazy:

Boris Diaw (anyone who's followed the Suns recently knows what kind of attitude they got from Diaw after he won MIP and signed an extension)

Monte Ellis (got in a moped accident and missed most of the season a year after winning MIP and getting a new contract)

Zach Randolph (Won MIP, got a contract extension, and since then has never been in shape and is widely considered one of the NBA's fattest players)

Nope, no way an MIP winner could possibly be lazy!

It's funny how easily you get tired when you're as out of shape as Hedo constantly is.

Well it took long enough but at least someone understands why this article is a big deal.

Turk has a history of being out of shape, last season being the most notable example, him saying this kind of stuff is foreshadowing we're in for 4 years of constant stories about Turk being out of shape.

give him time, i believe that it´s not his body which is tired its his mind. alvin should let him sit a few games and see if he gets better. no need to bash him after what - 4 games..

Turk is a bs player. He has the best pg passer in basketball to set him up and he can't knock down and open jumper. Does he need the ball in his hands? Trade him back to Orlando and he would still be sour grapes. You are better off just buying him out so that he can rot with pizza pizza and pop in his mouth. Turkolooooooser

Hedo is a joke. Warrick is giving about 10 times the effort as Hedo and is getting results. Turk has more natural talent (in a different way) than Warrick, so imagine if he gave that kind of effort.

There has to be a way to trade him. I think about it every day. This was the dumbest things the Suns have done in a while.

Gentry you fool slide Warrick into the starting lineup and have Hedo play the 3 position of the bench that is his TRUE POSITION where you will GET THE MOST OUT OF HIM! Gentry continue playing him out of position will lead to a less effective Hedo ! Wake up Gentry before your in a 1 -10 hole.

He's tired cuz he's outta position getting beat down by Gasol, Duncan, etc. Play him at the 3 and he'll be putting up the numbers we need him to put up.
