Bibby- Evans and ATL 1st for Stuckey- Maxiell as it seems that both have become indesiable in DET?
ATl release Collins & signs Hayes or elies on Sy and JJ as back ups

Stuckey- Teague
JJ- JC1- JC2
Marv- Hayes- JJ
Smoothe- Powell- Maxiell
Horford-Zaza- Thomas

The Hawks couldn't afford it unless Stuckey was a one year rental.

IF DET was willing to ditch Stuckey for this package, then this could offer us some interesting options. I'd think our focus would be seeing if we could involve a 3rd team that would send back better fit for us though. Some team might like to take on Stuckey as a combo guard scorer who's only an RFA after this season. Teams like NYK or ORL would have to think hard about Stuckey, since both would like a young wing scorer to pair with a superstar big.

I don't see DET doing this though. Stuckey may have fallen out of favor, but I still think he'd be worth more than a mid to late 1st and knocking a year off Maxiell's deal. They do get a couple of parts that match up well, but I'd think that want a little more. Maybe a 1st from the 3rd team?

Detroit won't do this trade. Dumars is high on Stuckey and I personally wouldn't even consider it. Change Stuckey with Rip and you got a deal!

What would you say if there was a 2nd 1st from another team? If we shipped Stuckey to a 3rd team who also gave a 1st to you on top of this deal, what would y'all think?

So we get two or three first rounds? Which one? If it's three, I would do it.

No, it's a total of 2: 1 from us, 1 from a 3rd team in the deal. Basically, the trade mentioned above, but add in a 3rd team who you'd ship Stuckey and Maxiell to. The 3rd team would ship us some assets and you another 1st.

For example:
ATL gets: Pietrus + Orton; ORL gets: Stuckey + Maxiell; DET gets: Bibby + Mo Evans + '11 1st from ATL + '11 1st from ORL

Not saying this is a deal I'd do (we'd be going with Teague and the JC's as our PGs; not to mention the fact that we'd be helping ORL), but it's more to give the structure of the deal. Would 2 late(ish) 1sts + the ability to shave a year off Maxiell's deal be enough?

Then it depends on the team. If it's the Raptors, Clippers, Kings, or Timberwolves, I would do it. I wouldn't do it if it was Orlando. That's a contender. The first round pick would have to be a lottery one- bottom 15 teams.
