Yeah, I don't see JJ fitting in very well either. I'd rather keep Brown and Hendo.

I'd rather have Derrick Brown that James Johnson. He's cheaper and can do the same work.

Johnson's bigger, more versatile, doesn't get torched by zombie tmac, and has a decent outside shot.

Derrick Brown... jumps really high?

Johnson is not bigger than UPS (in fact they are both are both around 6'8"), he's not more versatile and he usually gets torched by any small forward in this league.

Have you ever looked at Johnson? Dude is clearly bigger.

As for defense, they both get torched. But at least Johnson can play a little post defense, UPS is pretty much useless outside of a few gambles for steals. When's the last time anyone has seen Brown body someone up? 6'8 and allergic to the post. All he's good for is aggressive dunks against bad defense. Outside of the game today, he's never shown any range at all - or confidence in it either.

UPS is a nice, fun player to watch but he's one-dimensional.

depends on the asking price, but adding a guy that was a 1st rounder is not a bad idea, but then again, who has LB ever developed?

I watch lots of bulls games, and James Johnson can turn into a very good player. He's not getting into a rhythm consistantly in his 5 minutes and standing in the corner. But every once in a while you see glimpses of what he can do. A couple games ago he put on an absolutely dominant defensive performance in a close game

He makes lots of mistakes, but noone can question his work ethic or attitude (he's from a martial arts background). When he gets comfortable out there he will be very good. He is definitely worth a shot.

I don't think we should make decisions based on a coach that won't even be here past this season.
