The Washington Wizards have been a notoriously bad home team over the past couple of years, but they haven't had an issue with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Washington looks to continue its domination over Cleveland on Saturday night as it tries to open 2-0 at home for the first time since 2006-07.

The Wizards (1-3) are tied for 28th with 29 home victories since the start of the 2008-09 season - but somehow have gone 3-0 against the Cavaliers, who then featured LeBron James on the roster.

Washington also is 12-2 against the Cavaliers at the Verizon Center in the regular season since the beginning of 2002-03.

John Wall has been the topic of much discussion since scoring 29 points, dishing out 13 assists, and tying a franchise record with nine steals in his home debut Tuesday night, a 116-115 overtime win against Philadelphia.

The top overall draft pick in 2010 put up 13 points and a team-high seven assists in Friday night's 112-91 loss to the Knicks, but also turned the ball over nine times - giving him 17 in his last two contests.

Wall knows he needs to take better care of the basketball.

"I'm a leader, I've got to be a better leader and a better decision maker for my team," he said. "To win games I've got to keep the turnovers down."

Gilbert Arenas made his return to action for the first time since Jan. 5, before he was suspended for the final 50 games of last season for bringing guns into the locker room.

Arenas was glad to get back on the court but knows it will take some time getting into the flow of things.

If we lose this game, the season will go downhill very fast. Wizards are young team, two losses in a row will hurt their confidence. Arenas, wall and hinrich playing together will not work, one of them needs to sit.

And it should be Hinrich. I think Hinrich will have a solid season overall, but he needs to come off the bench. Like I said in the Knick game thread, there's too much pressure on Wall to create offense and handle the ball. They need Gil out there.

I don't even think it's Gil's ball handling that's the most important. Having somebody that can create a shot for themselves I think is the biggest need. Dray has been trying but when he tries to do that too much he gets into trouble. The only other guy that can do it is Howard and he's still hurt. Hinrich, Thornton, McGee, Yi, etc are all guys who can't create anything on their own. Chris Paul could probably get this bunch going, but Wall isn't on that level yet. As long as Gil doesn't pound the ball too much, starting him to take pressure off Wall will help IMO.

Arenas can take the pressure off for Wall to make his transition into the NBA even easier. When Arenas gets back into the flow, he can either handle the ball or take the outside shots that will cause defenses to sag off from Wall. Don't think Wall *needs* that, but it sure will make his life on the court easier.

We got a babysitter and somehow, I managed to convince my wife that going to the game would be a great "date night". (She usually falls asleep in the middle of games, but after calling the Wizards Dance Team a "bunch of tramps.")

Since our daughter was born 3 years ago, I've been to precious few games after being a season tix holder for 5 years. I'm just looking forward to going to a live arena, not having to cut anybody's food into small pieces.

Flip seemed like he wanted to bring Gil off the bench for 3 games. I could see him still doing that due to guys always looking good in game 1 but then sucking some right after that when the reality of rust sets in. He's also coming back at the exact time we play a back to back so Flip might not want to risk it.

However, there are 2 very big reasons why Gil should start now. 1st off Wall obviously needs it & so does Dray. They need that help. 2nd, we are playing 3 straight winnable "home" games. Its the perfect time to start him. If Gil is on the bench the first 3 games then he might be making his 1st start against 6'8 Stephen Jackson. You dont want that. Get him in there now and get use to things for not only him but the guys around him. The home crowd should give them the momentum to carry itover

I can only HOPE that the Wizards will win this one.

If Hinrich is pouring in a whopping 7 points and 2 assists, he really needs to sit. We were all a little interested in this possible 3 guard lineup, but I really don't think it will work.

With Gilbert back, he should start ahead of Hinrich. He shouldn't be playing more than 25-30 minutes, but I would really like Hinrich to be a key part to that 2nd unit. When you really only have 3 guards on the team, you can't have all three of them start.

I like the amount of minutes he played tonight, 26 seems just right considering he just came back. You also have to see how the ankle will react to a back to back....I`m pretty sure they are being extra precautionary with Gilbert considering his injury riddled past..

You also have to consider, it will be easier for Flip to ease Gil in to that role having him come off the bench...I care more about the minutes Gil is playing, and when he is getting those minutes, than whether or not he starts. That shouldn`t really matter from a team perspective.

Like all Wizard teams of the last 7 years, we'll have to out-shoot our opponent in-order to win. The Cavs have been rebounding well and they're starting line-up has nice size. As Wall goes so go the Wizards.

I just don't know if I trust our team to beat the Cavs in the regular season without them having LeBron. That's when we usually had their number.
