Ibaka or Dalmbert?

Post#1 » by Ph33zy » Fri Nov 5, 2010 8:01 pm

Someone dropped Dalambert in my league and i was thinking of picking him up for Ibaka. I don't want to get rid of Ibaka, but don't have anyone else to drop. I'm also in a one center league if that helps. Just saw that Dalambert will get the start over Cousins on the wire...

Why would you want to drop Ibaka so much?

Is Dalembert a PF/C?

I'd keep Ibaka for upside cuz his minutes are going to go up and he's a PF/C. In addition...my guess is that Dalembert is going to be traded by the Deadline.

It's a tough call really. Ibaka has monster potential but at the same time Dalembert can be among the league leaders in rebounds and blocks as he's done in the past.

I say you should actually wait until Dalembert plays a game as a starter. See how many minutes he plays and how he performs. If he does well, then it's probably time to grab him. Also post your roster, I'm sure you can drop someone else outside of Ibaka.

This was an auction draft so that's why I was able to get both LBJ and KD. Filled out the rest of my roster with minimum players.

PG: D-Collinson/J. Jack
SG: B. Gordon/Dorell Wright
SF: LBJ/Durant/Batum
PF: W. Chandler/Landry/Antawn
C: Ibaka/Harrington

Standard 9-Cat,
PG, SG, G, SF, PF, F, C, UTIL, UTIL starting lineup.

My team lost 4-5 first week and i'm getting spanked this week 2-7 so far....Was thinking about trading either LBJ or KD for Chris Paul + Someone else but will wait a little bit longer to see if Collinson or jack can step it up at the 1. I just used a #1 priority to pick up Antawn last week. He's off to a slow start, but I'm hoping its due to his knee injury....

Dalembert had 10 and 14 rebounds his last two games. Blocks are even. I'd probably be trading points for rebounds between Serge and D-bert. I also have the lowest waiver priority so this all might be moot....
