I wouldn't be too sure he can still play. He was downright terrible in Washington and his last two seasons in Saint Louis were pretty inconsistent. It's probably been five years since he's been at least league-average.

an off year? how do you define that? archuleta is just an awful football player, and has been so for the last couple of years (since he left the rams)
we also just signed Tank Williams, a younger and better version of Archuelata (i.e. Tank's at least passable in coverage.)
Archuelata right now is a very undersized LB who plays safety, who can't cover, and at times gets run over, despite his reputation for being a hard hitter.
