O.T. (kind of) Dennis Rodman

Post#1 » by yanksknicks101 » Sun Nov 7, 2010 6:25 am

I was looking at Rodman's stats and of course, the boards are crazy good which had me thinking. If, lets say, it was possible to draft Rodman with the rest of the crop of players, where would he be drafted? this is assuming that the stats used for "last season" (the stats you go off of in this years draft) was his 91-92 year where he averaged 9.8 points, 18.7 boards, 2.3 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.9 blocks, fg% of 54% on around 8 shots, ft% of 60% with around 2 a game 0.4 threes a game and 1.7 to's a game

note also how his value might be effected on h2h and roto

I would say late 2nd or early 3rd round. The rebounds are HUGE but the scoring and blocks aren't where they should be in a fantasy league. He would be considered like a bigman version of Jason Kidd. No scoring, high rebounds, and a little bit of everything else. While Kidd does the same with assists instead of boards.

Cool topic, it'd be crazy to see who some of the better players would have been in fantasy back in the day. Stockton would have been like Nash on roids hahaaha.
