Poor guys. Both had promise, but injuries got to them before they could even play in a game.

I'd like to see McKenzie back, I think next year he might show something. He'll be a year removed from the injury and he did look pretty good in preseason.

I really thought Wheatley was on the right track after his first season. Then it all fell apart, sadly Darius Butler is starting to remind me of him.

I liked both of these guys, and thought both could be could, what a shame.

McKenzie was always more of an athlete than football player and when injuries hurt the athlete he was worthless. I never figured him as a Belichick kind of player to begin with.

I'm bummed about Wheatley, I always liked his game but he had injury issues going back to HS. He was worth the risk IMO based on where the team was at in that draft, just sad it didn't work out. I wouldn't be surprised to see him back in camp next year.
