Robinson To Be Cut

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Fri May 9, 2008 8:00 pm

As early as today.

Good move, we obviously want some younger guys at the position. By doing it now it gives him a shot at hooking up with another team and it avoids the possibility of him getting "injured" in a mini camp and the Pack being stuck paying him for the season. Vets have been known to do that when they think they might not make the team.

I liked the guy and all, but I guess we really dont need him. It was nice seeing him returning punts instead of woodson which is just

Wish him the best, and congrats on gettin his life 2gether.

Not surprised. Seemed like a really good guy and kudos to him for being able to get his life together while he was with the Pack; that's very commendable.

Im gonna miss K Rob. I still think he was a pretty darn good #4 or 5 receiver but since we drafted Nelson we was on his way out even tho I still wanted him back and slowly hes become a fan favorite. Wish you nothing but the best Koren. You will be missed

You will see him again next season, catching passes from Brett.

As long as it's not for this team, that's fine with me.

For those that said TT didn't do enough to keep Favre happy, I think this is one exhibit that he did. He kept KR around when his perfromance was average at best because Favre wanted him.

Average? I'd say K-rob was a well above average 4th receiver. He was an assest to our special teams and helped spread defenses in the 5-wide set. Name a better 4th receiver. One maybe two teams might have better, but that's debatable too.
