I'm not buying the Bulls being better than us until they prove it. They have one more win than us at the moment, and they were incredibly lucky to have a win against us, IMO.

I agree. I've said since the beginning of the year we have a decent roster, the coach just wasnt using it right, but now he appears to be coming around in that department so I feel a little more optimistic.

He stopped playing Maxiell finally. He started playing Monroe good minutes. He's finally starting Gordon and bringing Rip off the bench. He's starting to figure out that McGrady is his best PG. Now he needs to figure out that Monroe is a better starting PF than Daye.

I just don't know why it took him 6 games to figure these things out when he is supposed to nbe an NBA head coach and even casual fans can see these thing from the start. He basically wasted 5 games for nothing with those wacked lineups and playing 6-5 Maxiell at Center.

Hopefully these recent good lineups changes are a sign of things to come.

I think there is a chance none of these teams finish above .500.... which means we have a chance to win one of the worst divisions in NBA history.

Taking a look at the Pistons schedule, I think they have a realistic chance at finishing the month with 6 wins and 5 losses. That is assuming they win the divisional matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks. That's an 8-10 record and I think the team would have a hard time having the number one seed in the Division with that record. I think Chicago, Indiana, and Cleveland would be ahead of them. I think the Bucks could also wake up--they have the talent to do so.

Bucks will be fine, they'll get better as Bogut gets better. Still think Rip/Maxiell (to give them an offensive boost and add to their frontcourt depth) to Milwaukee for Redd makes sense for both teams.

Pacers have decent talents as well. Rip/Maxiell to them also works IMO, as they are also a little weak offensively.

IMO, it will be a fight for 4th between us and Cleveland.

The Pistons have a pretty tough schedule the rest of the month. 4 of 11 games are at home, but one of those is against the Lakers.

7 road games, including a four game west coast trip where they could easily lose 3 of 4. The other 3 road games are against Dallas, Memphis and Orlando.

I could see 2 of 4 home wins and 2 of 7 road wins. 4-7 overall, for a 6-12 record at the end of November.

The schedule does not help the Pistons much. 7 road games is a lot to overcome. They only play two teams who will have played the night before - vs. the Lakers and vs. the Knicks. Both home games, but that does not matter all that much against the Lakers.

They play two road games that will be back-to-back for Detroit - at Golden State and at Memphis. Likely two losses.

For the Pistons to be 9-9 at the end of November, they will have to go 7-4 over the next 11 games. If they win 3 of 4 at home, losing only to the Lakers, they would have to win 4 of 7 on the road. That is a tall order.
