the kicker here is info subject to change. i found no info on either carter or nelson so im assuming theyre both ready to go... ill update this when i found out otherwise

Jameer Nelson will miss tonight's action. He did however go through shooting drills today. I will post the video later.

Vince Carter will be in the starting lineup, which will consist of Chris Duhon, Carter, Rashard Lewis, Ryan Anderson and Dwight Howard.

Ugh, don't know if Vince starting is a good idea. Coming off the bench for limited minutes would be the best choice.

Gonna be a battle between 2 of the top paid players today (Shard and JJ)--gonna be like Magic vs Jordan PART TWO!

This wasn't worthy of starting a thread but I have to bring up how horrible of an interior passer Duhon is. The guy tries to squeeze in so many bounces in the lane that have no chance it is ridiculous. If he could cut those our second unit would be a lot more efficient and Duhon would have an amazing Ast/TO ratio...it seems like every turnover the guy has is from a pass in the lane.

Sorry, re-watching the Nets game from a few nights ago and it got on my nerves.

"We've got to go down there and be men on a mission," Hawks coach Larry Drew said. "We are playing a team that has pretty much had its way with us the last few games. As I told the guys, it's time for us to go stand up and be counted. We have got to go down there and see what we are made of."

^^ I expect this game to be much more competitive than the last meetings. Hawks are probably sick of always getting beat so they're going to give their best tonight especially after losing last night.

Let's see how the Magic respond.

One thing to keep an eye on is Horford vs D12. IMO Horford has been getting much more physical with Howard and has started fouling him very hard now (the one in preseason that comes to mind) unlike last year.
