How about Bulaga going up against their OLBs? That kind of got lost in the shuffle. Ware is having a very good year, and Spencer is no joke.

Don't forget Clifton. Many fans were calling him totally washed up not that long ago and the last month or so, he's played nearly flawless football as a pass blocker and easily could be back at LT next season. If he does and with Bulaga now having a near lock on the RT job over Tauscher, it will be interesting to see going forward if Bulaga ends up being the long term RT instead of LT.

I was very much in favor of benching Clifton, I thought he was completely done. But you're right, he's been playing absolutely phenomenal football, and I was wrong about him. I'd be very ok with Bulaga at RT considering he's been doing a great job as a rookie. I still am holding out hope that some how, some way we end up getting Joe Thomas to play LT when he's a FA after next year (I think that's when he's a FA).

That's the only game we've had all year where we haven't really had any consistent QB pressure. It's not a coincidence that Matthews was out for that game.

If we had Clay for the end of the Redskins game we don't lose that game either.

Good point, I totally forgot about that too.

CheeseheadTV posted this picture. Look at Clay a yard and a half upfield while nobody else is out of their stances (Zombo literally hasn't moved out of his). No wonder Woodson and Hawk both had a free run right in Kitna's face.

Is Joe Thomas a huge Packer fan or something? If there is still a franchise tag in the new cba, and it seems like there will be, there is no way the Browns let Thomas walk.

I noticed that and commented on it many times Sunday night that Matthews anticipation is amazing. It's like he knew what the snap count was better than the OLine.

He's like the Bill Belichick of linebackers, IMO. Only instead of filming the signals... He just knows. :o

He knows what you're going to do before you do it because he planted those thoughts there already, Inception style.

Starks activated off of PUP and Francois cut.

I'm stunned thought for sure Starks was headed to IR and that if they did activate him it would be Nance that got cut.
