my question is...what the hell has patrick chewing been doing the last 4 years??, dwight works with hakeem for a few weeks and he looks like a total different player

Hakeem "enabled" Dwight. Many of the skills were already there, either naturally or through working with Ray/Ewing but Dwight couldn't access them on a regular basis. The work with Hakeem goes beyond physical skill and into the realm of understanding mental development. In other words, Dwight's physical skills didn't all of a sudden get better overnight, Dwight learned some mental skills that now allow him to play in his zone and access his skills that allow for a good performance.

It all actually started before Hakeem when Dwight watched that movie "Peaceful Warrior." If you haven't seen it, its not a great movie but all about Zen philosophy, simplified so people could understand some of the concepts. Once Dwight accepted that movie, he saw the potential of what the subconscious mind is able to do.

Atlanta looks worlds better than last year but I still think if Nelson played we win that one by 20. Duhon stifles the offense, its easy to for 5 guys to defend 4 guys on offense knowing Duhon basically will NOT shoot or drive. Is it too early in the season to hate him?

Nope it's not . The guy is a 0 on the offensive end. He can't shoot, can't create for others and can't drive. He's just a awful player and person. The guy shouldn't even be in the league

I agree. I actually watched the Knicks every now and then last year (still do, to be honest), and he looked exactly how he looks now.
