I'm not sure if a host team has made it or not. However, it would probably be a longshot, and even if they did, it wouldn't make that big of a difference in the actual atmosphere as most of the fans are either celebrities or big-level executives that could probably care less. However, the home cooking and being able to sleep in their own beds would definitely be a bonus.

In Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, the Dolphins were in the Super Bowl playing at Dolphin Stadium.

Never say never

Great choice, I'm glad the Colts are going to be able to lose the Super Bowl in their own place(hopefully to the Packers) lol

Indy will be mocked viciously, probably even worse than Jacksonville, about how they'd much rather be in Miami or Phoenix, but it's well worth it. Woohoo!

Detroit did okay, so I think Indianapolis can too.

This sounds like a pretty horrible idea. Just keep it in San Diego and be done with it.

Maybe for those children left behind but for the rest of us it's clear as day.
