Jazz @ Magic 11/10/10 5PM MST

Post#1 » by seejaydeja » Wed Nov 10, 2010 3:09 pm

Magic have our number. It's gonna be a tough one considering the high were coming off, with DWill and Sap both having played 43 minutes last night, it's gonna be up to Big Al to carry the load both offensively and defensively.

We don't have an answer for Dwight. I think it's just gonna be damage control.

Just stick Fes on D-Howard. Problem solved.

Fes is the answer to all of our problems. He is our duck-tape

At least we have a couple of big bodies to put in him to waste fouls like Fess and Elson.

Utah Jazz have nothing to lose tonight. They are on a tough 4 game road trip hoping to win 1 game and if lucky 2. We should be able to play pretty loose tonight maybe allowing some of our shots to fall. I might be a close game. After last night, anything is possible. What I want to see out of this game is for Al Jefferson to play well both offensively and defensively and see the rookie Hayward hit a couple of outside jumpers. I would also love to see alot of Fess alongside Jefferson during the game to provide a big lineup thus pounding Lewis when he plays PF. Burn for Evans would also be nice.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

Well if we come out with a loss we can't complain, but I don't think Williams and Millsap should be VERY tired, I know I rested like a baby last night after an emotional win, and they are damn young and in great shape, they should do just fine. Also Jefferson rested a lot versus Miami so he could help give Millsap some rest if he requires it. I don't predict a win, but I could see the momentum carrying over. Super pumped for this game. :-)

Fes on Howard is going to be fun to watch if not funny. But props to Fes for hanging in against big guys like Howard. Overall I think this game is going to be an excellent match up on both sides. I think we are a little weaker than the Magic but have a huge edge coming off the win last night. GO JAZZ!

Fes is gonna get a lot of fouls quick. He's gotta learn to stay on his feet and not get faked so easily. Dwight is gonna be tough for him. I wouldn't be surprised if he uses all 6 fouls tonight.

Congrats to beating the Heat. My favorite teams this year are the Magic and whoever plays LeBron.

that said, we are playing backup PG's against williams which worries me most. Howard though did alot of work with Akheem Olajuwon in the ofseason and it shows. I am hoping our depth along with your game last night allows us to get a run going in the 3rd quarter. Lewis still hasnt shown up offensively. He is due to go crazy but who knows when that will be. BTW, Lewis is almost exclusively SF this year. PF is split between 2 guys, Bass, identical in size to Milsap, though not talent, and his antithesis, a anderson, a 6' 10" 3 point sharp shooter that is blue collar inside. Should be interesting to see how it goes.
My 2 cents is worth 5 cents.

Actually I think its the complete opposite, if your team guts out a incredible road win in OT then the next game you normally come out flat with no juice left, AND this is a back to back. Brutal schedule!!

Good luck fellas.

Millsap has been doing remarkable this year, I'm going to make a point to start checking out more Jazz games this season.

Can't see us winning this one. Second night of a back to back, against the Magic on their home floor. They always kick our asses and they've been doing great once again this year. I'll be really proud of this team if they keep it close. I'll be ecstatic if we win.
