Why are we going after Kevin Love? Don't We have enough PF already?

Yeah,I'm calling pure BS on this one.
The writer claims to know all about Rocket trade talks yet admits he has no clue why the Rockets didn't sign Dampier?
And if you read the bit on Love thru the end you'd swear the writer was saying Adelman was coach of the Blazers.
More to point, how on earth is Love an "ideal fit" for the Rockets? Love's problem w/Rambis in Minn is playing time. So we're supposed to sit Scola and give Love the 30+ minutes he wants? Love pads his rebounding stats w/junk rebounds and plays worse D than Scola. This is an "ideal fit"?

Wolves board consensus is that it's BS, too. Love's low minutes are a bit puzzling, but he hasn't feuded with Rambis at all, seemingly. All he's said on the matter is that they talked it over and they are on the same page. Some feud. Doesn't make sense for the Rockets or the Wolves.

I hope this isn't true. Love is the kind of player the Rockets don't need. Another undersized big who could score.

Aaron Brooks for Kevin Love trade confirmed. Wolves need more point guards, so it makes sense.

I'd rather get josh smith. At least the guy can block a ball to the bleachers

Aaron Brooks,$2mil salary
Kevin Love,$3.6mil+ salary.
Salaries don't match,Minn has no TPE.
Might want to stay off the pipe.

Not only that, but Houston gets an unneeded PF and the Wolves get another PG despite already having Flynn, Ridnour and Telfair (who may be outplaying Ridnour) plus Rubio waiting in the wings and we're about to sign another PG in the short term until we get our full PG rotation back from injury. Wolves need Love more than Brooks, and it seems like the Rockets could use Brooks more than Love.

if this trade goes down i'm not gonna watch this team till they start winning. morey has to know with yao at 24mpg, this team needs more defense, right? it's clear to him we got plenty offense right?

Add in JT and it'd make a GREAT 3-way trade.

Minnesota gets their 8th PG, we get a whatever, and Kevin Love is freeeeeeeeed to wreak havok (tisbee's comment on worthless rebounds aside. What is a "worthless rebound"?)
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

Hes big, black and blocks shots. Averaging 10, 8, 2 in 29 mins. 6'10 with a 9'3 standing reach, 7'3 wingspan and 33" vertical.

we need a 6'11 250lb minimum defensive big. it's hard to defend the paint when you're an undersized big. dont you remember last playoffs OKC's weakness was their lack of size at the 4/5. once la started pounding the paint serge couldnt do anything about it. that's cuz he's undersized. he's better suited as a help defender, or just a solid pf defender. he's not gonna defend the paint by himself, he already proved that. his standing reach, vertical, wingspan doesnt mean he can defend the paint.

Unless Scola gets trade this will not happen and it completely false. Love is not a center and injured or not Yao is the center. Making a trade for the sake of making one in not a smart move so Morey is not planning this. Now Love could be apart of three team deal with him going some where else and the guy just heard it wrong.

Hell yeah i'd take Ibaka. He can alter and block shots and his low post defense would provide something that we don't even have right now though i would like to see more of Hill since he seems to be a sparkplug for us defensively. Ibaka might not be as effective going against the Lakers to their multiple bigs, but which other team can really match up inside against the Lakers anyway?

It would be awesome if we could have the Ibaka and Iggy show on our team. Our defense would go up a few notches.
