Most Valuable Offensive Player

Post#1 » by IVSKIN » Tue May 27, 2008 2:13 pm

Which player on our offense will have the best year? Hester's special teams doesn't count.

I have to go with Benson. We are still going to run the ball, and Lovie seems dead set on giving Benson one last opportunity. I think (see hope) that Benson will have a break out year.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Greg Olsen. I expect him to have a breakout year and have 60 catches or more plus 6-7 touchdowns.

We really need production from our 2 good TE's to make out for our lack of experience at WR.

benson is not an every play back

that said---i have to go with olsen and bradley
grossman and forte are my sleepers

grossman has to decide to work harder to be consistent-----he has talent, his head is not right

Olsen, since he's one of the few NFL-caliber skill position players on the offense.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Hester as a WR. He showed glimpes of greatness WHEN USED CORRECTLY. Risky choice given Moose isn't around to show him where to line up....
Turn down for what?

I don't think saying Olsen or Hester is going out on a limb much at all (If Hester can learn the plays and how to run a good route, that is). They are probably our most skilled offenive players. On that note, I'm choosing Olsen as well.

The season starts in 3 months, I sure hope he has all those screen passes down pat.

Benson, then Hester at WR (if Turner actually decides to pretend to be an OC this year).
