Thompson is a very good rebounder and ok shotblocker. he's 6'11 and 250 so has way more size at the 5 than Hill at 6'10 and 235. Thompson can start at center while Hill backs up both the 4 and 5

Lee can handle 2nd/3rd string minutes at the 1 spot or trade Patterson for a PG.

He's a decent rebounder and a softy in the post. He gets backed down easily and is a notch below Hill athletically. What about the minutes for Miller, Hayes, Patterson, and co.? Getting equal value for our young talent is just as important as well you know.

*edit*
Don't get me wrong, Thompson is a great prospect. If you just structured your deal a little differently I'd be all for it. It's just too unfair from the King's point of view. They love Cassipi and do have some sort of faith in JT.

jahlil okafor has some of the best post moves in the last 30 years and the dude can't even get on the floor

It's going to be Aaron Brooks. Probably packaged with an expiring and a pick for a veteran point guard (crossing fingers for Nash who will make this season worth watching).

Why would suns trade nash? Hes old but he's still the suns entire lifeline.

Brooks for Ibaka.

While i would love to see that trade, there is no way the Thunder would do that considering their defense is hollow right now and the fact that Ibaka is their best interior defender, who can alter and block shots, and rebound. Plus, they might not want another pt. guard.

well after last night's game for sure the Thunder won't trade Ibaka. He was a beast with 22/11/4 blocks

Brooks and Patterson for Eric Maynor and Cole Aldrich

if it's brooks, jeffries/battier will be in it or else we wont get equal value in return
my guess is none and most likely will be sign-and-trade in next off-season
i don't see anyone on the market can benefit us

What about Patterson for Dragic? Suns need a big man (plus Patterson is a young lottery pick-in case they decide to blow it up and rebuild-), Dragic would make a nice combo with Lowry and we can just let Brooks expire or use him for trade to improve another position.
