"D Will Frustrated" - Ric Bucher

Post#1 » by meat tray » Fri Nov 12, 2010 7:09 pm

Lots of D-Will talk in Ric Bucher's chat today:

scott (chicago)
Everyone talks about CP3 leaving when his deal is done, how come D-Will doesn't get any talk about where he could end up? Utah is a classic middle of the row team that never really gets all the way to the top

Ric Bucher
Deron has been smarter and more responsible about it. There are no rumors leaking out because he's not telling friends he's frustrated. Though he is. He'll give Utah everything he has and make a decision when his option to leave is available. I respect that to the Nth degree.

Jared (Philly)
I agree with much of what you said about D-Will vs. CP-3, but do you really think CP-3 has a better supporting cast? Millsap and Jefferson are probably better than West and Okafor...

Ric Bucher
I don't think it's even close, especially when you factor in the psychological part: NO reloaded as best they could at CP3's behest. Utah let a bunch of pieces walk for nothing. CP also is coming back to a frontline he's played with before. Deron isn't dialed into Al at all yet.

I love how he says Utah let a bunch of pieces walk for nothing, and then goes on to mention Jefferson by name. Also completely ignores all of the other players Utah added.

The first quote is probably true, the second is absolutely asinine.

So D-Will isn't telling friends he's frustrated, but he's telling Ric Bucher?

Or maybe Ric Bucher snuck into D-Will's bedroom and stole his diary.

What? It's possible that Deron's frustrated. I'm not sure I'd say it's probable, but it's definitely possible. However, it's unbelievably ridiculous to say that New Orleans reloaded as best as they could and Utah didn't. Yeah, they made a few nice moves and, yeah, we let a few players walk, but he neglects to mention the fact that we were pretty damn aggressive (and I would say successful) trying to replace the players we let walk. I also don't think it's true that CP3's supporting cast is better than Deron's, although it is true that CP3's playing with a frontline he's played with before and that Deron and Al still have some work to do as far as on-court chemistry goes.

Just wait until Chrissy Paul runs into the DWill train!all this BS will by blown over! The Jazz are only going to get better. D-Will be fine and so will this team. I hope the Hornets keep it up. I want the world to watch a D-Will vs Paul playoff series!

My dream is that the Jazz end up the 2 seed in the West and play the Spurs in the first round(get them back for the WCF) Then play the Hornets in the second round( D-Will Vs Paul) and then play our good old friends in the WCF! We already let a 3 peat happen in Utah, not this time!

What, he's criticizing the Jazz for letting Brewer walk? He's getting 3 points a game playing 20 minutes a night in Chicago. What about Boozer? Last I heard, he wasn't playing at all.

Jazz bit the bullet signing Millsap to a "toxic" contract, then acquired Jefferson, Raja, Watson and Elson in addition to resigning Fes.

They're not going to hold onto players that get us knocked out of the playoffs early every year. That's the opposite of trying to improve around Deron.

Ludicrous inanity. Bucher has always been full of crap; no surprises here.

Deron loves winning. As this team improves and finds its identity Deron will be more than happy. He already expressed his approval with the off season moves.

I'm not even sure Paul is going to bolt.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

The idea that the Hornets had a great off-season, and the Jazz a bad one, is about as delusional as it gets. And given that Deron signed off on and was happy with all the moves, Bucher affirms his status as one of the biggest morons in sports journalism.

Not surprised that apparently at ESPN, they teach you that you can make up whatever BS you like. I hope that ass-tard comes back to Utah soon so he can get booed. Thanks again BSPN...

First quote is true. Except it was no secret that DW has been frustrated, just read his quotes from a week ago. When we were 0-2, he definitely wasn't trying to hide his displeasure. IF DW is going to leave he'll play out his contract and bolt.
