Nov 12: Utah @ ATL

Post#1 » by ATL DirtyBird » Fri Nov 12, 2010 8:36 pm

The comeback kids invade the ATL to come squat on our home court. Faceplant on national TV? Yes please!

Go Hawks!!

Let's hope they don't have another let down game. is Al Jefferson playing if so we will have our work cut our for us. I recall him being a hand load when he was with Boston.

There will be over 10,000 empty seats when the game starts....so why is this a nationally televised game?

Josh Smith is 5-12 with the deep ball this season. Keep shooting it Josh because you obviously have been working on your range.

Idk why Hubie isnt doing this game. Hes the only one who has any clue about the Hawks.

Can't get a feel for the game. We have no personality -- just running around, shooting when we feel like it.

Anyway, I've missed the last 3 games (work) so maybe the team missed me and'll win tonight.

Seriously, back to the 1st point, Deron Williams shows what we could have. We don't necessarily need a great PG, just a strong-willed one. One who'd run the offense and make the players toe the line.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

If we get Deron, we dont get JJ and we dont get Al. Getting Deron doesnt guarantee greatness. This franchise is run like garbage, so what makes you think we could make a contender with him?

Thats not to say I would love him but I dont trust this franchise to build a contender. Jazz are a well run team, the Hawks are not. Either way, theres no point on thinking about what could of been bc its not happening. CP3 and Deron are not here. We have Marvin.

And this is why I hate Josh sometimes. If he played with this energy we would be so much different. He makes such an impact.

Guys, guys, I'm not re-opening the old (old, old) issue of DWilliams/CP. I'm just saying I'd like a forceful personality at PG.

By the way, I love the ebb and flow of an NBA game. Deron Williams cries to the refs and gets a few touch calls in his favor, then the refs start to balance things out. I'm convinced the refs keep an eye on the stat sheet.

This game would have been alot easier if Bibby or Teague gave us anything. This is starting to remind me of the T.Lue/Ivey tandem.

Time to prove we can keep our heads against a good team when they make a run. We need to bring this one home.

I'm not sure we thrive when the refs swallow the whistle like they have the last couple minutes.

I think it's an advantage to Utah because they foul more than any other team in the league.

Great possessions for the Jazz down the stretch; pitiful ones for us. And it's because Williams controls the ball for them and Joe for us.

I was just pointing out that we seem to get more ragged when the game is allowed to play rough.

Joe failed to trust his teammates at crunch time. 14.7 what happens?

I really hope they spend a whole day just shooting free throws.
